It's substantial weight and good paper. Just a little pricey.

The actual paper quality is nice and thick however i was gutted when i noticed the dots are only 4mm apart not 5mm.I have included a photo of the paper which shows the difference in dot placements compared to a A5 Dotted journal (the top is my A5 dotted journal and the bottom is a sheet from the recieved item. U can see the difference when compared to the rular and also to each other. The dots are more like 4mm apart than the standard 5mm and it completely throws off my layouts and measurements. Not happy 😠

This paper is too yellow and the dots should be faint but they are black and bold. It’s very distracting.

This is decent paper! I have the A5 grid version but it also comes in dot-grid style, and in the smaller A6 size. The paper is heavy enough to feel substantial without feeling stiff or cardboard-like. Color is a bit on the yellow side of creme so you'll want to use more saturated inks. I take notes mostly with a fountain pen, so tested a variety of inks and nib sizes. I also tested with a black bullet-point Sharpie and with a blue Pilot G2.None of the fountain pen ink bled through the paper. One ink did ghost through a bit but I expected that from the nib/ink combo; another has a long dry time on any paper and did not disappoint here. The Sharpie bled right through. The G2 was fine, but was still a bit smeary at 15 seconds.Overall I'd rate this as friendly to any routine note-taking tool. Use a writing board with juicy fountain pens and with Sharpies.Fountain pen friendly. Overall this is quality paper for most note taking. 160 sheets for $8.50 is a reasonable price for this paper.

I chose the A5 grid rather than dots, for my 20 year-old Day Timer planner. Though I had to punch a few more holes for my planner's 7 ring setup, that does not affect the useabilty of the paper. The small grids are great for sketching landscape ideas, doodling, as well as keeping my handwriting tidy when taking notes on the go!The paper's surface is smooth and at 100 GSM, the weight is strong enough to stand up to ink pens as well as micron pens with no bleed through. This pack contains a total of 160 pages, and the grid is printed on both sides. If you're looking for a graph / grid paper for your A5 planner, I would suggest this one.
