This yoyo finger spins longer than any yoyo ive ever owned. I think its because of the plastic but it shocked me how long I can finger spin this. I love that they went wide. This is a great improvement over the first version. I also really like they way they did the color. It almost has a marble type of look. It did have a little bit of fingernail vibe however you couldn't feel it while playing. Im guessing this is because its plastic. It plays great. Its very stable due to the width and fat rims and spins for a long time. I would definitely recommend this yoyo.

My general yoyo experience: I've played with yoyos as a kid (I was never any good at it then), and now I am coming back to it. I would say recently I've done about a combined 4 to 5 months of practice in the past 2 years or so. During this period I have only owned the Luftverk Plastic Fulvia . A 30~40 CAD yoyo (which you can also get off amazon) designed in Canada, so I will make comparisons to that since it is the only other yoyo I have played around with recently.Pros over Fulvia:+ Comes with a lot more than the Fulvia at a lower price+ Is wider, so easier to catch on a string in theory.+ Is much much more quiet (although I suspect this is because I haven't cleaned the Fulvia's bearing in more than 2 years)+ Is less angular, so it hurts noticeably less than the Fulvia to return to your hand (I think the shape is more of a preference though in general)+ Has a dimple in the middle, so easier to do finger spin tricks with like dna (allegedly, I am not good enough to do that yet).+ Smaller radius so it would fit more comfortably in a child's hand.+ Almost half the cost as FulviaGeneral Pros (on par with Fulvia):+ Is very well tuned and vibing is user error.+ Spins for a decently long time (I measeured 2 minute sleep but I don't think that's the max)+ 2 bearings mean 2 playing styles and tricks that are not possible with only one or the other.+ A lot more information given to the user so it is a lot more beginner friendly.Cons (with respect to Fulvia):- While it comes with 11 strings, the strings are precut, so you can't size them, and I remember the Fulvia string being nicer, but I can't be sure now.- (more of a nitpick) The finish on the plastic is worse. When rubbing my fingers on the edges of both, the edges on this yoyo are sharper than those of the Fulvia. So they clearly cut costs in the process.Aside from that, and the fact that I can't comment much on the longevity, this is a great buy, especially at the price. If you are considering yoyos in this price range, I would be inclined to get this yoyo or similar. I think a worthwhile jump in quality would require a much more expensive yoyo (at least if the Fulvia is anything to go off of).

I ordered this yo-yo for my daughter because I remember how much fun I had with yo-yos when I was a child. I could never do any tricks, but I still loved just having the yo-yo go down, just to return directly to my hand.I found out the hard way that these modern trick yo-yos operate very differently to the yo-yos that were around when I was a kid. These take a little bit of time to learn how to properly set them up, wind up, and use. These are not the wind-and-go yo-yos I am accustomed to. However, after a few watches of YouTube tutorial videos on modern yo-yos, I was off to the races. Like my childhood, I still can't do any tricks; I have mastered getting the yo-yo to go down and come back up though. For now that is enough fun for me.This yo-yo comes with lots of spare string and some fairly clear directions. I found that the easy to find YouTube tutorials were far more helpful than the directions in the box, but the directions weren't completely useless. You have to adjust the length of the string to your height; I had to cut a string quite short for my daughter, but that will make using the yo-yo easier. If you give this yo-yo to a child without adjusting the string and without showing them how to properly use it, they will have a terrrible time. This is a great product, but if you are new to modern yo-yo-ing, then you will have to invest some time on how to set up and use it. I guarantee that if you don't think this yo-yo works, it is something you are doing wrong and not a defect of the yo-yo at all. Remember that it takes some time to learn and master, but it is super fun in the end.Highly recommend!

This is a great little beginner yoyo! It includes components for both responsive and non-responsive setups, and it comes with plenty of strings. This isn't my first yoyo from MagicYoYo, and they consistently deliver high-quality products. I find this yoyo to be very well balanced and it spins smoothly with no wobble. While I'm not typically a fan of the rounded profile, it didn’t take long to get used to. It’s a bit wider than what I’m used to, but overall, it’s very comfortable to use, and it performs exceptionally well.Out of the box, the bearings can feel a little sticky and may not spin as smoothly as you’d like. However, this is common with most yoyos. A tiny drop of silicone or mineral oil can make a world of difference, dramatically improving the spin time and allowing for extended practice and trick execution. For beginners, having a yoyo with a long spin time is ideal, as it provides more time to learn and experiment with different tricks before the yoyo winds down. I really appreciate this feature in heavier plastic yoyos. The color is fantastic and it comes in a very nice case. The overall build quality is excellent, making this a great yoyo for the price, especially for beginners.

It would be hard for me to find a flaw with this yoyo. I appreciate the design elements and the attention to detail. The case really completes this package. There's a tiny instruction sheet included which explains how to attach the string and how to perform some basic tricks. There are so many resources online for those who want to learn some advanced tricks. This yoyo won't leave you disappointed. It's nice to be able to change the bearing and swap out for longer strings, but I think it makes more sense to just get another yoyo if you find yourself wanting to explore other more advanced tricks.Considering the size, I don’t think anyone below the age of 8 is the target for this yoyo. It’s made for larger hands.
