First switch failed after 2 weeks with the trim motor stuck running in the up position. Had to pry the switch out of the motor housing and cut the wires to get it to stop trimming motor up. Replacement switch had very poor solder connections. Retaining arms all broke off when trying to install. Very very poor quality. Replacement switch failed after a few weeks, same as the first switch. These are garbage.

Bought this product for my husbands boat and it fixed a simple issue in the motor without having to take it to a professional. Cheap & easy alternative!

It was exactly the same switch as the old one, but the plastic tabs for mounting the switch in the cowl broke off right away- they didn’t flex at allAlso the plastic substance covering wires connections at the back of the switch fell out- had to use epoxy to cover the wiresHad to silicone the switch to the cowl so it would stay in place. The switch itself is working fine
