Sellers description is incorrect, connecting more than 3.6V will damage the laser module.

I absolutely hate to give bad news about a product, but rarely have I paid so much for something that failed instantly, and was not replaced by the seller. Now Mind you, I build lasers for a living. I'm about as methodical as they come. I'm not that guy who'll blow something up because I don't follow directions, then rag on the seller. This one is legitimately a failure.I bought this laser as a replacement for the 3.2v laser on My industrial laser cutter.I sent multiple contacts asking for the voltage and was basically met with "thank you dear please make voltage accordingly". I looked at their power packs they sell, and they seemed to be in the 4-4.5 volt range. So I hooked it up to My bench power supply. I started with 3v dc .25 amps. it was dim.. so i increased to 3.9, and it was as bright as I could ever want.So I backed it down until it started dimming again, and settled on 3.5v.Well, it shined beautifully for about 10 seconds, before POP!the chip blew up...I have bought $2 lasers that were more voltage tolerant than these. For $28 delivered, I am extremely disappointed, as I never even got to install it.I tried to give the seller the opportunity to make it right, but they apparently have no interest.I'd look elsewhere for a laser if I were you.
