When connected to 5V the PCB draws 120mA, when RF signal applied at 150MHz current draw drops to 60mA. RF single strength drops 30dB and is not amplified. Either I received bad board or bad design. Unable to find a data sheet on the mentioned SBB5089Z. No information included with part. Product does not work as advertised.

I bought 2 of them and tested them with 2 different instruments the R3465 spectrum analyzer with tracking generator and the liteVNA64 There was a 50dB DC to 18Ghz attenuator in the input to make sure the amplifier was not driven into saturation.The amplifiers did not make the published spec of 40db at 4Ghz. That is the only reason it has only 3 stars.The highest gain is 50db at 5Mhz, then it becomes flat with 41 db to around 550Mhz, 1Ghz 40db, 2Ghz 35db,3Ghz 32db, 4Ghz 27db, it does have gain at higher frequencies, 5Ghz 25db, 6Ghz 22db, 8Ghz 14db. Both amplifiers agree within +-2db. The reverse isolation at 1Ghz (my frequency of interest) is 34db.
