Excellent brightness - shines space more fully than normal flashlight. Handle works well for carrying or positioning for hands free use. Sturdy. Rechargeable for long life. We use this as a night light on our property. Also lights up hard to see confined, finite areas. Makes a great camping light, car engine work light, or brightening a room for painting. This light meets our needs so well, we have purchased as gifts for friends. There are knock offs of this model, so be sure you are getting exact product by entering model/product code in your Amazon search.

Powerful and powerful, this light might benefit from a magnetic attachment point. But then it might collect unwanted items...I do know that the new charging port is a big step forward. Even as it is the USB-a version it's still much more common than the previous port that used a stand-alone, dedicated charger. After loosing the old charger I discovered I could buy a new light for only two times the price of a replacement charger. That's about ten dollars less than the first one cost ten years ago. (Pictured above, I eventually found that rascally old charger's hiding spot.) I use this during power outages, trained on the ceiling, to light the room & to charge cellphones. Works all night.DOUG out

There was no product information sheet in the box with this light. There was limited information plus some features printed on the outside of t he box. "Operating Information" plus "made in China" were printed directly on the back of the light. However, nowhere was there any mention of the light lens getting really hot. When I first took the light out of the box, because there was nothing stating "caution" or "warning", I laid it down in my lap and pressed the power button. Within about 3 seconds, I could feel the light lens getting really hot so I quickly picked it up off my lap and pressed to power button again to turn it off. If the lens had continued heating up at that rate, I think it could have caused a fire with my clothing or burned my skin. If a very young child or a mentally disabled adult got hold of this and turned it on and left it on, it could have some bad consequences. A permanent warning sticker should be placed on the light.

First off, the light I got doesn't match the picture on the front of the box, though it IS the one shown in the ad, as well as being one of the two shown on the side of the box.The intensity of the light is extremely bright but I can't really tell a difference between the most bright setting and the second most bright setting, so using one setting or the other really doesn't add any value to the light.The charging indicator on the back of the light is also very bright. I like that I can just throw this in my vehicle and have the ability to charge my cell phone or other electronic devices that use a USB cord to charge. The light housing feels very rugged.The handle allows for five different angles, between fully upright and not supported by the handle, to fully lying flat, when the light is placed on the ground. Unfortunately, if you need to use the light to look down onto something you would need to either have someone hold it, purchase a stand for it, or rig something to get the light to face the way you need it.I gave the light 4 stars out of 5 because, the "different" intensities of the light appear, to me at least, as negligible. And although it has different angles of adjustment the light needs to be on a flat surface, hanging from "something," or being held by someone.
