These lights do a nice job of pulsing to music and adding visual energy to the space. Setup was quick, and I like the color range and rhythm sync feature. The battery lasted a few hours as advertised, and it recharges easily with the included Type-C cable. That said, the strong chemical smell straight out of the package was hard to ignore. I had to let them air out for a while before I could even consider using them, and even then, the odor lingered for a bit. That alone knocked off two stars for me.Nice idea and decent execution, but the smell definitely took away from the experience.

Easy to use, no assembly required! Bought these for my nephews car but he loved them so much for his bedroom. The microphone/sound Is fairly accurate, slightly off but not enough to complain!

I love these "ambient lighting strips" although I am old school and think of them as "spectrum analyzer displays." :)The real beauty here is the simplicity. No app required to control the unit. No app required to setup the unit. No app required to use the unit. Simply plug it in and it starts responding to ambient sound immediately. I love this part. So many LED products require you to use an app to play the music the unit responds to or require you to keep the app open on your mobile device and use your mobile device's microphone to pick up ambient music/sound. These guys built the microphone right into the unit so it can operate completely untethered. PERFECT.The sticks are small and unobtrusive. They seem well made. You can use adhesive to mount them, say to a wall or an A/V rack, or you can use the handy little stands and stand them up. The individual light segments are large and very bright. The microphone works great, and they respond to music/ambient sound perfectly.I've only encountered one design issue, and that's because I bought 3 more 2-packs on my own dime for a total of 8... that's how much I love them. The only issue is to use them all at once, I've got a mess of 8 USB cords. I'm not really sure how this would look if you tried to hang them on a wall. What would be REALLY cool is if each stick had 2-USB ports, one for power and one for passing power to a 2nd stick. Then you could daisy-chain them together and have just one cable going to the power supply. In lieu of this, I've ordered a 2 pack of 4-way USB-C splitters. This cost me an additional $15 but will make my spectrum analyzer display much cleaner with just 2 cords running to power. The regular price on this 2-pack, at the time I ordered them, was $16. At the time of this review, the regular price is $19. I like the $16 price point better, but I like these so much, I wouldn't even think about it if I came across them in a retail store, I'd pay the $19 and be happy. Right now, there's a 50% off coupon reducing the price of each stick to $4.75 each, $9.50 for a 2 pack. Whether $19 or $16, 50% is an amazing price... too low, in my opinion.

I was looking for some additional lighting effects for my computer desk area, and these were a great choice. The light bars come with small square stands or can be adhered or placed wherever you can fit them. They came almost fully charged, but I charged them to 100% before my first use. The light bars show a nice green battery level on each of the bars so you can watch the charging progress if you choose to. They also come with a decent quality charging cable that utilizes USB-C connectors. Any 5V charger block or USB port will suffice. They have a bunch of different modes and effects which you control from buttons on each of the bar's back panel. They also have their on/off switch and charging port on the back panel. If you have ever used an LED equalizer panel, you will figure out how to get the effect you want by flipping through the different ones. They react to sound and have good enough microphones that I can place them next to my TV on low to medium volume, and they will react to it. Placing them next to speakers would be ideal, but they still work fine at a short distance. You can choose to have different directions and different color sets for the LEDs to follow sound to. Plus, you can also have them as ambient light that is always on at any color of your choice or a mix of LED palettes. They look great, react well to sound, and produce bright light and effects. Additionally, the battery lasts a good amount of time per charge, or you can choose to keep them connected to a 5V power source and then have them on indefinitely. Better than expected lighting, good construction, and compact styling. 5 Stars!
