The light itself is very nice, is a good size, and seems well built. The color and brightness adjustments are also nice, and can be made using the remote. The vendor worked with me to help figure out the timing of the light. There are settings for 2H, 4H ,6H and 8H. If you press one of these buttons after you turn the light on it will automatically turn off after the designated period of time.

UPDATED: The lights have started turning themselves off and on and random times, like they are on a timer, but an unpredictable timer. I can't figure out how to reset the "timer" on the remote. Will continue to play with them, but if this continues they will be unusable.ORIGINAL:This indoor spotlight works perfectly for backlighting plants. The design is great. It's very small and has many settings, along with a remote. In particular, we love the dimmer and the timer feature. It works great for us in this dark stairwell, where we need something small on when it's dark. We have tried stair lighting and that was too overpowering. This works perfectly. Very pleased with the value for the money with this purchase and will likely buy another for other areas of the house.EDIT: I bought another one and wanted to note that the remote will control both of them. I am not sure if there is a way to fix this. For us this is fine, but for others this could be a problem.

I really like these mini LED spotlights for adding some dramatic uplighting. You get two remotes, but one remote will operate both lights if used in the same room. These were the same price as another set I purchased initially that were identical except no remote control. I like the simple options on the remote to dim the brightness (10%, 30%, 50%. 70%, 100%) and that there are separate buttons for those levels, not one button you must press multiple times. There is also a timer feature to turn the lights off after a set amount of time, which makes them very convenient to use.

Let me just say I believe “uplighting” is not talked about enough if ppl are looking to elevate their house. I have spent a lot of time and money on fixtures, although beautiful, I still felt like something was lacking. I noticed in an Amazon review a long time ago when reviewing something else, I saw what was lighting going “up” and that lighting gave a wonderful vibe to the room the reviewer was reviewing which was a blanket. I went on a search and started with 1 order that came with 2 lights and now have 16 although. Uplighting is a game changer! It adds depth, a rich feel, and calming. The quality of these lights are the best and at an amazing deal! I’ve had a lot of ppl compliment my mom and some say something is different and I don’t know what and I always say it’s the lighting! And then I turn it off then back on and they always say, you’re right that’s it! Pls remember uplighting is not complicated, simply have behind an object or dressed, couch etc, pointing up or slightly angled but towards the wall and a beautiful illumination is created. Its way better to use as a reading like- wasted money added ones beside the bed and it doesn’t take up space like traditional lamps! My husband is happy when I allow a 10% light on remote to spend time at night, before a lamp on was just to much as a woman who has a child recently, but a very soft up light made me free and him happy.
