I have been replacing UV bulb on my Viqua 410M for several years. Since Viqua raised their price to more than $116, and LSE "replacement" was less than $50, I decided to call Customer Service of LSE Lighting and inquire about several negative (one star) reviews by other customers. I was advised that folks install it wrong. So, given that I had done this for several years and was aware of pin alignment--I decided (regretfully) to order the LSE company's replacement UV Bulb. It did not work as Viqua system did not recognized it. Since we could not be without water in the house until I order and receive the right UV bulb, I hired a licensed plumber ($120 labor cost) to check my work and get the wrong (LSE supplied) UV bulb to work. It did not work. Viqua system did not recognize this LSE supplied UV bulb. This experience cost me $170 and a great deal of aggravation. I then bought the expensive UV bulb from Viqua and solved the problem.I hope Amazon comes up with a rigorous policy so that third party outfits like LSE cannot cheat the system and cheat/deceive customers.

Bulb burnt out the first day, poor quality.

I was able to save a lot of money by supplying these to the company that changes out my water filter system. Very Happy and will order again.

Plugged this replacement in and turned the system on. No light, the ballast (control unit) was making strange noises and the display flickered on an off, so I immediately unplugged everything. Swapped the old bulb back in, no issues. Tried the new bulb again with the same bad results.
