Gel de sílice secado de flores:

Seguro y no tóxico:
Nuestros geles de sílice de secado de flores están libres de CoCl2 y pasan por un proceso de eliminación de polvo para garantizar un uso seguro y saludable; las pequeñas abalorio ligeras son ideales para preservar flores y pétalos con mínima o ninguna decoloración y decoloración.
Indicación de color:
La arena contiene cristales que indican la humedad naranja que se volverán verde oscuro cuando están saturados, lo que te permite identificar fácilmente cuándo los geles de sílice necesitan ser recargados o reemplazados.
Recargable:
Los geles de sílice saturados se pueden reactivar y reutilizar. Extiende en una hoja poco profunda y colócalas en un horno de 120 ℃/250 ℉ durante 30-60 minutos o hasta que todas las abalorio verdes cambien de nuevo a naranja.
Se necesitan suministros de conservación de flores:

Paso 1: Vierta una capa de cristales de aproximadamente 1.5 pulgadas de grosor en un recipiente hermético.
Paso 2: Asegúrate de que las flores estén secas. Recorta los tallos de las flores e insértelos en posición vertical en el gel de sílice. Las flores de cara plana se pueden colocar boca abajo o se pueden colocar flores largas de lado.
Paso 3: Añade suavemente gel de sílice hasta que todos los pétalos estén completamente cubiertos mientras mantiene la forma de la flor intacta.
Paso 4: Sella el recipiente y guárdelo en un lugar fresco y seco durante 3-7 días. Nota: El tiempo de secado puede variar dependiendo del tipo de flor.
Paso 5: Una vez seco, retira suavemente cada flor y sacuda los cristales de gel de sílice, cepilla los cristales restantes con un cepillo para polvo suave.

It has worked to perfectly preserve many flowers, although I’d admit I wish it didn’t puff up fine silica dust when poured, it makes me feel sketched out about breathing it in. Even when I pour slowly it creates a big dust cloud. But it does what it’s supposed to and the best part is being able to reuse it over and over again! Definitely worth the buck!

Tried a couple of yellow long-stem roses (sans stems) so far and they came up very nicely - excellent colour retention (over simply hanging them dry in the dark). Wish I'd had this method on hand in the past... Pleased. NOTE: Do remember to use product either outdoors or well-ventilated area, preferably with a mask on, because there's quite a bit of silica dust that clouds around when you pour the material and you don't want to join the Host of Honorees in whose memory someone else is preserving flowers sooner than you must :)

This silica dried flowers beautifully, and I finally found a silica where it doesn’t have to spend hours in the oven to be recharged. I place a small amount in the microwave for about a minute each and it is recharged and reusable. It’s this great for flowers, & it will definitely save you money & time unlike the other silicas that require hours of recharging in an oven!

I purchased this to try my hand at drying flowers to preserve after a family member passed away. It worked perfectly. The type of flower you use can alter the results a bit. I dried roses and some small purple filler flowers from my arrangement. The purple color stayed vibrant and they look amazing. My roses were white so I wasn’t sure how they would look but surprisingly they look great. They did turn a little but that was expected. I watched a few Utube videos on how to use the product. I used small containers with lids for the individual roses and put a few of the smaller flowers around the rose as I was filling the container. Making sure there was plenty of filler between and surrounding all the flowers and let them sit for just over a week. Slowly poured the filler off of the flowers to see my results. Pretty simple.
