The Lorex cctv cameras are super good. The videos and pictures are stunningly sharp. Their ability to detect motion from humans, vehicles, and pets correctly make these cameras so good. The night color vision surpassed all my expectations. I will recomend Lorex cctv cameras any day.

Had to replace our smart cams due to software termination. Bought these and are easy setup and stand alone on our Wi-Fi. Going to buy more of these. These are 100 percent Great replacements for anybody that had there Samsung smart cams turned into bricks because they stopped support on software. The price is Great, and they do much more than the old ones we had.

Overall we love this camera, it has its pros and cons. We have recommended this camera to all of our family and friends.What we love most is that there is NO subscription needed!Second is that the storage is local to the device and footage is not stored unsecured overseas. It’s still a wifi camera and can view footage from anywhere.I like that we can pan and zoom the camera to any position we want and is very clear and night and day.The tracking feature could use some improvement. If a vehicle drives by quickly it will turn to where it was first detected and then not follow it after. Worked better on slower moving objects.The detection area could be improved as well as I still get notifications from movement in areas I have turned off. Also the instructions are not very intuitive (areas in blue are active areas, non blue areas shouldn’t detect movement).I do lose connectivity over WiFi sometimes, but that is more due to my mesh network locations, will likely be hardwiring the internet connection as well.Was easy to install (did have to run some electrical in the attic)Overall very pleased with this camera and affordability, would likely go with their 4K 180 view camera (which we also have).

Have two others that are the same model. Quickly connects to Wi-Fi. The pan and tilt come in very handy. The automatic detection works great. Picture quality is great and the sound is crisp and clear. The app is so easy to install and use. The camera is well worth the price. Would highly recommend.

Setup and install of camera was relatively simple. Great video through the app. Unfortunately it only lasted a couple of weeks. I followed the app troubleshooting process and the camera would not reset, even after several tries with two different phones. Sent product support a message through the Lorex app, along with name, phone # and email and never received any contact from them. I had to call Amazon, who then put me through to Lorex customer service after waiting close to a week. They wanted me to repeat the same reset process that I had already repeatedly tried. Would not replace the camera unless I climbed the ladder again to repeat what already had been done several times. Shame that what first seemed to be a decent camera was not supported properly by the manufacturer.
