This is a high quality gauge. From comparison with my other gauges, it appears accurate. Feels great to hold as it is heavy/solid. Dislike the other gauges with the stupid rubber tire spikes radiating around them. HOWEVER, no where in the description does it say does not hold pressure. Why does it not hold pressure? I started the return process but later while packing saw the package stating "does not hold pressure". So, decided to keep since it is not defective and is accurate.Update: changed my evaluation to 5 stars. Despite my issue above, over the years, I’ve come to really appreciate the quality and accuracy.

Very high quality gauge. I was excited when it came which was at night, so I held it by a lamp and went out and tested my tires. The glow in the dark gauge was easy to read and the end chuck held the pressure with no hissing, and the release valve worked very well at bleeding off the pressure while allowing you to read the dial as it drops. I got tired of random readings from my slime digital gauge, which was high by 5 pounds according to this gauge. I tested my tires at my fathers mechanical shop and his pressure gauge was right on with mine, so that made me feel good. The ride is better, since the tires were over inflated, and I have 3 vehicles and 3 motorcycles and tire pressure has always been very important for me. I like knowing my tires are property inflated and can do so with confidence now! Might get one that attaches to my air compressor for extreme convenience, but this one is great for now, and portable. Great price, I don't need extra gimics that will fail, so I bought the base model. The digital gauge they sell is more accurate, but I wanted to get away from digital for this purchase. A lot of searching went into my decision and when I stumbled on Longacre I knew I found a good product based on all of the racers leaving reviews. Nothing is made in America other than morons and celebrities, so I'm not knocking it for being foreign. Every vehicle and all of my cloths, shoes, phone, computer I'm leaving this review on are foreign so who cares where its made.

Works flawlessly, measures the same pressure over and over again if you do multiple measures, until you remove too much air from the tire when plugging/unplugging the gauge too often. A good point: no batteries, meaning it always work, even if used occasionally (e.g. I leave it in my glove compartment).

Too small gauge and inaccurate.
