All pictures I found only show 3+3 headstocks so I wasnt sure but they do work well for inline also.I bought this because reviews on similar products said that the ones with "Alice" on them were better.I play with. 88mm picks typically but it seems to work fine with others that I have around also.

I bought these when I saw them in a video lesson and thought they were a good way to keep a couple of extra picks handy. I don't like the adhesive pick holders and and I'm not always right next to my mic stand for the mic clip style holders. These do the trick, are easy to install and hold medium and thick picks well. If you use thin picks they might seem like they'll fall out. I use guitar hangers in my den instead of stands and in every case the point where the hanger touches the guitar lines up with the point where the picks stick out the farthest. I remedied the issue by putting the pick holders between the A and D strings but that affects the tuning. It's not an issue if the guitar stays in tune. So far so good but we'll see as time goes on. Also, if you're in the habit of clipping a capo on the headstock when not in use, these may interfere with that too.

Product works ... for the most part ...I've used these on acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin and ukulele.- This will NOT hold a ukulele felt pick (pick is too thick).- Also, for some reason, I find that, on my guitar or banjo,if I put a pick on either side of the holder, the one on thetreble side always falls off (always!)?That aside, they're not bad for the price.

Does the job. Sometimes it moves around a bit between the strings in the headstock. On some of them the pick holder slots ,are tighter than on others.

Once in awhile a product of magic utility and simplicity comes along in life. This is such an invention!!For 50 years I have struggled with picks during performance. To hold both spare picks and different types of picks I;ve used tape on the back of speakers, tape on mic stands, rubber holders on mic stands, pockets - pants and shirt, and - well you know all the ways.I use a hard pick for some songs and a softer pick for others - depending on picking style. I can keep a couple spare picks of each type in my pocket. BUT this gadget is perfect. Holds two picks. So, we start a song with the correct pick in my hand and two picks in the "Alice" pick holder.Who has never broken a pick or had it slip out of your grip?? Well, in about 2 seconds, you can reach up and grab a new pick out of your Alice and hardly miss a beat.Simple. Beautiful. Clever. Perfect.
