This works, but requires some back & forth hammering. I’m glad I bought this kit with 2 suction cup devices. I found it works better to put one device on the tile you want to move and the other on the tile immediately behind it. Start tapping on the first one for a couple of times, then tap on the one behind it. Just work it a little at a time until you get where it’s supposed to be. Then you may need to go back farther and move some tiles that opened up from this movement.I also found it works better using a heavier brass hammer to get a little more force. About a 1 pound hammer.They leave a little bit of rubber scuff marks on the tiles; I found that rubbing alcohol removes these marks very easily.It’s not a fast remedy, but it works with no damage to the flooring. It took me about an hour to close up 3 very large gaps.

After reading some of the negative reviews, it certainly did not stop me from ordering. After receiving these, i was surprised how sturdy these were for the price. A no frills item, with no instructions it was self explanatory. Some complaints say they won’t stick and I’ll agree with that, until you wipe the new rubber and definitely remove dust and oils. I used window cleaner for the cups and the floor area I was working on and it was quick and easy. I have bigger LVP and I used both in the package to fit the planks together. Only using one in didn’t give me the ability to snap the expansion areas but two definitely sealed the cracks. Perfect size to work with and you can use them to for many other projects around the house or shop. Very functional and easy to work with. Keep the cups clean and protected when stored and you will not be disappointed.

This product did not work for fixing a gap. I think it is because of the texture of the floor. Maybe if your flooring is really smooth it would work.
