Little Giant used to mean incredible quality. It is now not any better than any crap from China.This replaces a Little Giant pump with the exact same specs from 15 years ago. That pump was rugged as hell (lasted 15 years) and had a built in flow valve.The supplied flow valve is a cheap plastic valve. It screws onto the outlet. It cannot be fully seated because it hits the pump enclosure after one turn. This pump feels like it will last maybe a year...Also, as others have stated - the filter cover does not stay on very well.

Great pump, exactly what I wanted and was lead to beleive it would be by the pump's customer service.

This is the factory recommended pump for my outdoor fountain. It worked well for 2.7 months and all was well. When it started to shut off I figured it was just time to clean out the intake area. It had a little debris so I cleaned it out. I tested the pump without any upward lift and a clean intake area. The thermo fuse still shuts it off every few minutes. Now it does not work at all Cost me about $30 dollars a month to own what is now useless to me.

Bought this as a replacement pump for my Henri Sudio Leonesco fountain as the one with which it came stopped working. This was an exact replacement for the original and, though a bit pricey, works just like the original even though part of the design had been changed.
