This is so cute. It’s easy to use, gives off such a nice warm glow, is wind proof, and is lightweight and compact in its little carrying case. This isn’t something you need at camp by any means, but I whole heartedly recommend it!

Not very bright about that of a large candle. Yellow flame only 40/50 mm long max usable. Nice ambience but will not light a whole campsite. Quality of item is ok not amazing but as long as the glass doesn’t break it should last. Cleaning needles are almost invisible and once dropped forget about finding them. Not very practical having to clean them out bush so I’d do that before every use at home.

This thing works about as advertised. I threaded it onto a can of standard isobutane camp gas (as shown in the images) and it worked just fine. I noticed that at high throttle the larger flame quickly started to burn incompletely and became pretty sooty pretty fast with the unburnt fuel which was a little disappointing. I found you could avoid this by rotating the bulb around enough to allow just a little air through the slit but this created a draft that diverts the flame to the opposite side and made me worry about uneven heating breaking the glass so I decided against it.I have an adapter to put isobutate accessories onto the larger propane canisters so I thought I'd give that a try, and not only did it work, it actually worked better than the blended fuel I was using before. I can get the flame very high before I see even a hint of soot so it seems the propane needs less air for the same combustion and I will probably use this on propane most of the time as a result.
