These are great. I use three of them with HomeAssistant to shut off noisy appliances (dehumidifiers) when people are around. They've been running perfectly for months. The full latency is only about 2 seconds: I walk into the room, and the dehumidifier cuts off with barely any delay. And part of that latency is down to the appliance itself. I especially love that you can plug these in and never worry about replacing any batteries. I don't remember for sure, but I don't think I even had to tweak the sensitivity settings to get them to work great.

Alexa doesnt support using illuminance in routines or sunrise and sunset times so kinda limited in what you can set it for. Full options in tuya. Minimum clear time is 10 seconds. Range options pretty accurate. Get it for tuya but pass on alexa.

I set up a tuya smart routine to turn on my wifi lights when I enter the room and turn them off when I left. It's quite a long room (20ish feet or more). This is at the edge of the limits for the sensor and it kept turning off the lights. The motion sensor reaches further than the presence detection so I had to keep moving when I got far away. In most normal sized rooms (bedroom, etc.) it would probably do great. I only was annoyed being completely still on the other side of the room from the sensor. (20ish+ feet). I had normal motion lights before and those were more annoying having to go trigger each one every 10 minutes vs 1 sensor.

It works for sure, but unless I have the detection settings really low (1-2) it keeps sensing a presence in the room after I've left. Managed to get it working mostly after playing with placement and the sensitivity though, so don't give up on it.Also, at max sensitivity it picks up a presence randomly all through the night for a few seconds at a time for me. So, keep that in mind as you're testing things out.

This is really good mm sensorI have other brands as well and i like this one tooPros:Works well, small footprint, magnetic back with a wall mount, works with just adding to smart devices appCons: although cheaper than some other brands but still a little high on priceSlow to respond it takes a few seconds to actDoesn't have mapping or zone detection
