I have this strap on my tenor guitar. It’s a lightweight instrument, and so I wanted a narrower strap. The 1 1/2” size is perfect, and to be honest I could have probably been just as happy with a 1” strap.Out of the bag the leather was hard, and dry. I immediately rubbed in some mineral oil and let it sit in the heat of the day for a few hours. It softened up a little, and with use I’m sure it will just get better.I’m using it in the shortest configuration since the tenor is held more like a banjo with the neck high. It fits just about right if a little long. At some point I may cut another slot to bring it in a little bit more. Maybe not. It is pretty close to where I want it.It is very comfortable. Especially when compared to the nylon strap I had on it before.

Great leather strap. No frills - no stitching, embossing (except Levy logo that blends right in) or buckles. Had it for about a month and after some leather conditioner and lots of playing and gigs it's already pretty flexible and will only get better. It's smoothed out underneath already too so it doesn't pull on my shirt too much. Took a little bit to get the length where I want it but once you get it, it's set. Highly recommended!
