Good outlet and child safe without requiring super-human plug insertion strength, like most new GFIs

The Leviton T5825-E Decora Duplex Receptacle is an excellent choice for anyone who needs a reliable and stylish electrical outlet. This tamper-resistant receptacle is designed with safety in mind, and the black finish is sleek and stylish. The receptacle is residential grade and is capable of handling 20 amps, making it perfect for use in homes, apartments, and other residential settings. The tamper-resistant design is a great safety feature, as it helps prevent accidental shocks or electrical fires. The Decora-style design is also very attractive and modern, and it looks great in any room. I've installed several of these Leviton T5825-E receptacles in various rooms of my home, and they've been very reliable and easy to use. The installation process was straightforward and hassle-free, and the instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. Overall, I highly recommend the Leviton T5825-E Decora Duplex Receptacle for anyone who needs a safe and stylish electrical outlet. It's definitely one of the best out there and is well worth the investment. 9 out of 10, would install again.

Redoing my house and decided to get these as my fiancee apparently shocked her self while putting a paper clip into one as a kid... Looked over the reviews and was kinda worried but these were the best price and all my other outlets were by Leviton so it matched. I was worried about all the "my plugs fall out" and "I can't get it in" comments. I ordered 12 and the 1st thing I did was check all these things for each socket a few time. I tried with the plugs where the prongs are the same size (like the phone chargers) and different sizes (the one where one is a little blunted and larger). The plug did not feel loose in any of these so I didn't have that issue but you have to push them all the way in. If it's only 2/3 in then it's not going to stay in but once you push it in, it's stable and snug. Now the pushing force is a little higher to get them past the blockers but it's not a ridiculous amount for an adult (there are meant to keep kids from putting stuff in after all). The only comment I have is that if your putting in you plug at an angle where one hits the protective cover first then it's not going to go in unless you re position it so both are in contact at roughly the same time. Again this is to be expected as the entire purpose is to keep someone from putting from inappropriately accessing one of the 2 prone slits. I did try to put a small screw driver (outlet wasn't connected obviously) and did not get past the protective flap, although i'm sure if I stabbed it really hard I could break it but I put a good amount of reasonable force and it held up ok.No assuming the install ok and provide electricity, these things get 5 stars for safety.
