Después de emigrar de Rusia a los Estados Unidos, Isidor Leviton abrió un pequeño negocio de hojalata en 1906, donde produjo puntas de manto utilizadas para la iluminación de gas. Con la invención de la bombilla Edison, Leviton cambió a fabricar un solo producto eléctrico: el soporte de la lámpara de cadena de tracción. Cumple 100% su función, al inicio pensé que no servía pero es porque no llegaba bien el adaptador al final del socket, con ayuda de una clavija lo giré más hasta que quedó hasta el fondo y ahí fue cuando ya dió luz, pero igual fue ese socket en especifico, intenté con otro y no me costó tanto

El producto no funciona, compré dos piezas (mínimo de compra) y ninguno funcionó, no pierdas tu tiempo, dinero y evítate pasar el mal rato (ya que no aplica para devolución).

My crappy Craftsman garage door opener somehow blew a light socket on one side. The motion detector side was fine but is on the opposite side of the garage from my work bench. I bought some of those 3 winged LED garage lights. Utilizing this product I was able to get 80 watts of light, triggered by the motion sensor. It provides a large circle of light ultimately solving a problem I had for over a year.

I used this product for my grow light. I plugged it in my pendant lamp and that’s where I plugged my grow light so all of my plants can get a taste of the light. How convenient!!! 😊

On my patio, for some odd reason the outlet is nowhere near the sliding door. This posed a problem when I went to install patio "bistro" lights and hassled with walking several yards to turn on and off (unplug) the lights at night. Because the patio lights I was installing were brighter than the actual single CFL patio light, I figured removing the bulb and installing this guy would not only resolve the outlet issue, but also allow me to turn the lights on and off from inside the house. The fixture housing for my exterior patio light was very narrow (just wide enough for a CFL bulb) so this fit absolutely perfect and does the job quite well!The only downside is that there is no ground. For me the was a non issue, as the patio light string was only 2 prong.

There's really not much to review for this item but I will mention a couple things. The outlets being placed on the end, as opposed to many models that have it on the side, enable you to use this adapter in tight spaces (e.g. a porch light with a decorative cover over it). Also, the sockets are well manufactured, providing a tight seated fit for your plug but not so tight that it's difficult to plug or unplug your electical cord. I used this to replace a porch light with a 30' rope light so that now when I turn on the light I can illuminate my entire porch instead of just near the door. Also, the rope light doesn't seem to attract bugs the way a bulb does.

This adapter is useful in situations where you have a lampholder, but need a 2-wire outlet.My use for this adapter is to trace circuits back to specific circuit breakers without turning the breaker off and then back on, which is tiresome when you are doing it alone (running up & down stairs!), and not very good for appliances on the same circuit. I use this adapter in combination with a to identify the breaker. To do so, turn the light switch off, remove the bulb from the lampholder, and screw in this adapter. Insert the plug transmitter into the adapter, turn the light switch back on, and identify the circuit using the instructions for the circuit breaker finder.Works great, and its made by Leviton - a reputable manufacturer.
