Purchased for myself (female) because men’s garments tend to be better quality than women’s. Levi’s is an excellent exception ( usually) but I wanted a red jacket with pockets and a longer length. I got a large ( recommended) because I wanted something to go over a sweater. I didn’t notice in the description that there are snaps plus a zipper! Nice material, can’t speak to water repellency as in I just got it delivered. So glad I don’t have to return or exchange. I got large, red racer strip which now matches my Easy Spirit walking shoes. ( white with red racer stripes). Jacket was on sale too.

I’m 5ft 9 and the large size fits my build nicely. Great color scheme and the quality is excellent. I couldn’t pass this one up for the price during the spring sale.
