My son is 9 years old and he loves soccer. I ordered this set size 12 which is what my son wears now (12 or 14). We had to wait for almost a month but it finally arrived. My son loves the colors and design. The top fit perfectly, but the shorts are very large (my son is not skinny and is on the larger size for his age 90 lbs.). The Socks are nicely padded but little large which my son does not mind because it is easier to wear and put shin guards. The fabric is light and breathable and the stitching is OK. My son is enjoining wearing the shirt even with his jeans but is not willing to wear it as a set because the shorts are too big. I wish the size description was better.

I surprised my 4 year old who is turning 5 years old in 2 months. He typically wears size 5 or 5t. He has 2 older brothers who love to play soccer with him and he really looks up to them. He was so excited to put this set on and went immediately to play with his big brother soccer outside. For the most part, I really love this set. The material is lightweight and breathable and feels great on him when he's running around in the summer Texas heat. The only thing disappointing was the socks, they were too big for him. They fit my oldest son. I do wish the sock size would improve. My son typically wears size 11 toddler shoes. He's 43" tall and weighs 43.4. Very active preschooler and a very happy one! He loves that it says Messi #10. I love the royal blue color, goes great with his baby blue eyes. His older brothers loved this set so much they added this set to their birthday wish list! The best part was that it didn't shrink or fade in color and it lasts a while with all the roughhousing my boys do inside and outside the house. The jersey and the shirt fit perfectly for my soon to be 5 year old. It was true in size, the only thing disappointing from this set was the socks as mentioned previously. This is perfect for a little Messi or soccer fan. Great gift for the holidays or special occasion like a birthday. Works well as a team play jersey if you want all to match the colors as it's easy solid blue.
