I bought this reader last year and it worked great. Just recently i had an issue where it stopped working after i had used copying my card to an external drive. Once it died i contacted their support for any help on what to do. Thankfully they asked my address and sent out another. Within a few days the reader arrived and it works perfectly again. They also followed up to make sure everything was working and that i got it. The card reader work’s amazing and the customer service was even better.

Update: After posting my initial review, the vendor contacted me for more information and offered to send a replacement unit. The replacement unit works with my Surface Pro 8 and HP laptop. It connects, stays connected, transfers files and ejects when commanded. If you connect the card reader without a card in the unit, windows 11 pop-up dialog states device failure - instead of no media. Likely a Windows problem rather than the device. When you insert the memory card, everything works as expected.I am using large CF Express memory cards, the more files transferred, the warmer the card becomes. This is not unusual but I do have 2 other brands that do not get as warm even with larger transfers. I'd suggest ejecting the card as soon as the transfer is complete to prevent over heating.The replacement reader connected and worked in my 2022 HP Laptop even though its USB-C port is not the latest USB version as I had believed. The port will not support video but apparently supports 10 Gbps which the card reader uses.I believe my Desktop problems are internal to the desktop internal hardware, NOT the reader. The desktop machine will not connect or acknowledge the reader is attached. Its USB-A and USB-C ports are labeled SS (SuperSpeed) but no speed designation (5, 10, 20) The USB-A ports are Blue (5 Gbps) and Black which could be anything - likely 5 Gbps. That speed is BELOW the required min. spec for the Lention Card reader.Vendor Customer Support and follow up is quick, friendly and they are truly concerned about their users. They are one of the best I have dealt with. I thank them for resolving my original issues.#########Original Review below:Does not work with my 2022 Windows desktop - never even connects - same with my Surface Pro 8.Windows 2022 laptop - sometimes connects, Never Ejects, often when connected with memory card inserted says disk is empty but is has images.Save your money

In looking for a CFExpress card reader, I found this one and it was reasonably priced, so I ordered it. I had an issue with the first one I received - it would not ‘eject’ from my MacBook Pro, but the company quickly addressed the issue by sending me a new card reader. It works like a charm, and I am happy with it.

I have a CF express reader already but want to be able to download two cards at the same time. I picked up one of these. It downloads the files as quickly as the other one (a more high end reader) and runs at a cooler temp while doing so. Most of these are hot to the touch. This one is not.

Worked well for a week - fast transfers. Then it just suddenly completely stopped working.

Trabaja muy bien, pero lo que no me gusta es que NO tiene salida usb.
