I needed some cables for an upgrade from lead acid to a 48V lithium battery on our golf cart. Compared to what I didn't know would come with the battery, these were quite a bit thinner, so I opted to go with what came with the battery. That being said, these are a quality build and I fully intend to use them in another application. As many have stated, the heat shrink doesn't appear to be fully seated, but I didn't see any other issues with the cables. My Star Rating Scale:5 stars - Perfect, or as close to perfect as possible and would definitely recommend to anyone.4 stars - Works well, but could see some minor changes that could make the product better. Would recommend to others.3 stars - Functional, but areas of concern or major changes that could make the product better. Recommend researching other options. OR, neutral ranking, nothing really special or bad about the product.2 stars - Barely functional, recommend researching other options.1 star - Avoid at all costs!

Having a need for some short heavy gauge cables for a battery connection set up, I got these cables. They are just about the perfect length for my needs. They are very flexible for cable this thick. The crimps are good, and the heat shrink is properly applied. It laps over the end of the lug and also extends back ¾” over the cable insulation. While it does a good job protecting the connection electrically, the heat shrink has no glue which means the connection is open to corrosion. Battery cables should always have glue-sealed heat shrink. In fact, I think all electric cables should have glue-sealed heat shrink.Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it for others? Yes, overall, these are very good copper cables. I may have to redo the heat shrink, though.

Will work great to hook my 1200 watt inverter up in my 24V solar system.Edit: took one star off as just noticed it came with SC35-10 lugs. This size lugs are intended for AWG-2 cables not AWG-4 which should have been SC25-10 lugs. They do seem to be solidly crimped, but using the wrong size lug can cause electrical connection problems.

These are pretty sturdy cables for the price point. I liked that they appear to truly be 2 AWG in size. The only minor complaint was that the connector terminal appears to be a weak point and doesn't have as much thickness at the crimp. This should only be an issue if you have an extremely high amperage project where you are bumping up against the maximum for the wire thickness of roughly 125 amps.
