Fits perfectly in my fireplace, realistic flame, remote control makes it easy to operate and heat up. Great purchase so worth the price. Looks great and realistic with the light settings of the flame you desire.

We are SO surprised by the quality and value of this heater. We previously had one we bought from a local hardware store, and it did great in our apartment. Recently, it died, so we wanted to get another (but upgraded) one. After careful consideration and comparison with other units on Amazon, we went with this one.PROS:* Solid metal, all around the exterior, including the legs.* Real glass on the outside panels (sides, and door).* Changeable decorations inside (the logs can be moved around however you want).* Plastic "beads" that are used in the bottom to look like glowing ash and embers (can be moved around to your desire).* Remote and control panel behind the door both offer lots of customization.* The flame effects look so real. The pattern "loop" for the flame is around 5 seconds before you notice the same pattern again.* There are 12 different colors to choose from for both the flame and the glowing embers (both can be changed separately to your liking).* There are 5 levels of dimming, which changes both the flames and the embers at the same time).* There are 2 levels of heat output, along with settings for the thermostat; which provides great comfort.* There is a 2-character LED panel hidden within the flames that shows temperature, light settings, dimming, power setting, etc. After a few seconds, it disappears.* It is lightweight, even being all metal & glass. It is easy to pick up and move around, but heavy enough to be sturdy and not fall over easily.CONS:* The heat output is on the top of the heater. (We have granite tile floors, so they don't absorb the heat because the output is on the top). - Nothing against the heater because it still does a great job of heating the room.* Since the heat output is on the top, and the heater is all metal, the top does get pretty warm/hot when it has been running for a while. So, you want to make sure anything that can melt (OR KIDS) stays clear from the top of the heater.

It's a good value. The tape is of high quality, and doesn't seem to stretch easily. If you use open-reel tape, it's a good investment. 'Nuff said.

We are so happy with this heater. It's changeable lighting of the fire and logs is beautiful and bright. The heater works great. The casing all around it stays cool, so I don't worry about curtains catching fire, and the cat can walk right across the top.We like having our main front door open with the storm door shut and this keeps our living room comfortable and saves the furnace from kicking on every 5 minutes. If you live in a mobile home, you know what I mean. It's a sturdy, wonderful little heater.

This heater not only looks great but has great heat output. It's fun changing the flame and log colors and love the fact that it has a built in timer (1-8 hours). The remote works great, totally satisfied with this item! Would definitely buy again.

Really enjoying the fireplace it’s a perfect size not to big or small..You have to attach legs took 10 minutes-easy. There is either low heat or high heat and it’s warm ..The flame looks real and changes from red, red blue, and just blue . It was expensive to me but because of the flame colors it’s cool. It’s worth the money. Get the insurance just in case, you have to add it on your own. All in all it’s a good purchase and make me feel happy and warm.. Enjoy

Easy to use and perfect as a lead.

I'm glad to find leader tape is still available. I have plenty of old reels of tape, some recorded to the very end that lack leader, and my current recorder loses tension several feet from the end so that part of the tape can't be played. I could complain about the cost, for just plain leader tape, but given what open-reel tape prices have reached the amount isn't excessive. My drop of the rating to 4-stars, rather than 5, has to do with the splicing tape provided, which while it seems to perform adequately, is too narrow for applying across the splice, as most splicing devices almost require. Attempting to attach it lengthwise, getting good alignment between the 1/4 inch splice with the 1/4 inch tape is almost impossible, and if it doesn't land correctly it can't be removed from the magnetic tape, especially the thin Mylar variety, without damage to the end, causing potentially a slight loss of the original recording. Fortunately an accurate, perfectly aligned splice is not required to attach leader to the ends of a tape, but I wouldn't want to try any precision editing with it. As for the leader, it is plain white, no markings. It tends to have "static cling" which, while helping to keep the tape from unwinding, makes the end hard to find when trying to thread the tape. Adding an end mark to the leader with a "Sharpie" solves this issue.
