According to collective wisdom on the Internet, salt and pepper mills are not interchangeable. However, it really depends on the materials used in the grinding mechanism. I have a pair of Kyocera ceramic mills that do not specify whether they are used for salt and pepper - they appear interchangeable. The Le Creuset salt mill has a ceramic grinding mechanism inside, a small metal plate, and a sturdy plastic body. I've used my Le Creuset 8 inch salt mill for peppercorns (white and black) - it works perfectly, with a satisfying "crunch" as you grind, and even after a few years, it has not appeared to harm the mill in any way. (Would be interesting to see if the reverse is true - if one could use a pepper mill for salt - salt does corrode metal parts). The one drawback was that the Le Creuset mills are made of plastic, not wood. However, having once owned a very expensive set of wooden mills that had to be discarded because the wooden interior got musty-smelling with dampness from peppercorns and salt crystals, I think plastic is more durable and easier to keep clean.

Los anillos son muy bonitos, la piedra del anillo de mujer brilla mucho con la luz y en general el metal es bueno. Se ajusta de manera muy fácil para cualquier tamaño de dedo. Lo único malo es que no lo he manipulado mucho y ya se ve un poco rayado. Pero en general me gustó bastante.

Me encantaron los dos anillos, el problema radicó en que al anillo de mujer se le cayeron las dos piedras laterales.Aún así el producto se ve super bien.

El producto se ve bien y muy presentable, lamentablemente las piedras del anillo de dama se caen con facilidad
