Didn't serve its purpose since the print faded after a few prints. I will consider it a waste of money

I was glad to find this piece on Amazon and that I could get it as soon as the next day with primer so I didn't have to wait too long to be able to continuing using the printer.

This unit does not generate consistent print quality, especially with a multi-page document, i.e. the first few pages will print correctly, and then the subsequent pages will have streaks that printed very faintly or not all. I am sure that it’s this unit for two reasons: 1) the ink cartridge is brand new and 2) removing this unit, turning it from side to side, and then replacing it will temporarily solve the issue.

I've only had this imaging drum installed in the printer for 2 days; but the difference in quality is huge. No more streaks and lines in photos; and the printed text is now good and dark instead of faded. The price is very reasonable (compared to the name brand "new" imaging drum). And, as a couple of other reviewers noted for other printers, the supply status gauge on my printer was way off, indicating there was still half left when the drum was actually no longer any good. Now I wish I had disregarded the status gauge and replaced the drum much sooner. I'm very happy with this product and plan to purchase it again.UPDATE (1 year later): Product did not have the longevity of the original equipment product; it failed after just 1 year (faded and uneven contrast print, just like a year ago when the original unit ran out of gas after multiple years of heavy service), with only light use of the printer.I have now replaced it with an Amazon-provided OEM Lexmark unit (surprisingly, not much price difference) which is now functioning well in the printer.

My imaging unit starts to show some streaking (vertical lines) while the printer reports the imaging unit has 75% life remaining, I bought this LCL model and it works extremely well. (my toner is also LCL)
