I love cooking and it felt like I had endless amounts of dishes to do after getting into a groove. I live in an apartment without a traditional dishwasher and there would be times that I would let dishes sit in my sink for days, sometimes over a week (I know, it was bad, I was super depressed and my only joy was cooking) I invested in this dishwasher being skeptical that it would last longer than a few months but I can confidently say after 2 years of running it almost every other day, this machine changed my life. It is worth every penny. Even if you aren't much of a cook, this thing is amazing and can take the daunting task of doing dishes off your plate (no pun intended). As others have said, the manual they provide is pretty useless so let me tell you what you need to know:Does the overhead sprayer arm get stuck? yeah. but its as simple of a fix as pulling it out of the socket, cleaning it up if there is gunk and snapping it back into place. Sometimes a simple wiggle on the sprayer gets it back to working order. Is the water intake hose difficult to install? also yes, to the point that I gave up. But the manually fillable tank helps me visualize how much LESS water I am using on these dishes than I would have washing them by hand. Plus I use the time I'm waiting on the pitcher to fill to clean the rest of my work stations up. To fill the tank it only takes 2.5 of the pitcher they provide to fill. Start the cycle you want, it will beep at you that the tank is empty, fill it until the machine beeps at you that its full and it will automatically start. The cycles are all pretty much the same in my opinion so I usually choose the fastest cycle. Unless I forgot to start it before going to bed, then I pick a longer cycle to make sure that they get all the funk off them lol Any type of dishwashing machine pods or liquid or powder soap work great.I have a friend who bought the one that doesn't have a glass window and she forgets if she runs it or leaves the dishes in there too long. I love the window feature because it gives me a visual reminder to run it or unload it.It fits perfectly on a countertop with overhead cabinets and is much lighter than you would expect, so rearranging your kitchen set up is easy.I am even able to fit small pots, pans and cutting boards in the machine. If I do that then I usually take the utensil holder off the top track to free up more headspace. It does not fit larger dinner plates, but I use pasta bowls, small plates and small bowls so it doesn't bother me. You can really pack this thing and I rarely have food residue. If there is food residue, its because it was super crusty when I put it in or burnt on a bottom of a pan. You can either just rise it quick under the faucet, or run it again and it will come out good as new.If I start noticing a smell, I'll run the longest cycle with a mixture of white vinegar and water in the tank (like 2.25 pitchers of water and .25 pitcher of white vinegar) and run it with a dishwashing pod. Then its back to normal. This has only happened 3 times total in the last 2 years, so I don't think a smell is something to be alarmed about. Wet food is just gross like that sometimes and I just wanted to give as much information as possible. If you made it this far, you are just trying to convince yourself that this is something worth buying and I'm calling you out. IT'S WORTH IT JUST BUY IT YOU'LL FEEL SO MUCH BETTER ABOUT DOING DISHES!!

We purchased the Kapas portable dishwasher for about one month now. It is super convenient. Washing the dishes completely even in the quick mode, gives you relief even if you have a ton of dirty dishes. The water indicator sound is clear and when ever you don’t have enough water, the cycle doesn’t even starts. There are two spinning hands at the top and bottom that sometimes start spinning which is when some particles are stuck on them. As you clean that up, you see them perfectly spinning again.I think it is a perfect choice for those with small space in their kitchen to fit this in and enjoy!

I have a tiny NYC tenement kitchen. I've upgraded the fridge and oven to the extent that space allowed, but I hated not having a dishwasher. Now that I this have one, and it has truly changed my life.It has multiple settings, but I generally use the Quick Wash, 29 minutes plus a one hour heated dry cycle. It has a small detergent well that uses only a little more than a tablespoon of Cascade liquid per wash. There is a sliding drawer on the top for silverware -- you can see the tracks for it in the photo. My 10" plates (which is the standard size) wouldn't fit beneath the rack, so I removed it, and took the silverware container from my metal dish strainer and put it in the bottom rack (see photo) of the dishwasher and secured it with a twist tie. (It was stable without, but if all the knives, which are heavy, were on one side it would tilt.). I recommend removing the top rack, and puttingt in the silverware holder from a cheap Rubbermade /Dollor Store dish strainer, and just tossing the straining rack.I didn't connect it to my faucet, because my faucet has a detachable spray/stream head. I can hook it to the top opening and let it fill. I just wait for the beeping that says it's full (about 70 seconds), and I'm done. (I also refill it after every load, so it's always ready to go.)At first my glassware was spotty and needed to be wiped. Then I realized on Quick Wash it pauses at 18 minutes (that sound is my cue to go into the kitchen, though it's so quiet I have Alexa set a 12 minute timer at the start of the cycle), and at 17 minutes, it drains.I then pause the cycle, and put just 3 drops of Cascade Rinse Aid onto the bottom of the washer -- spotting problem solved! It washes again until the 14 minus mark, when it empties again, and refills from the well for the final hot water cycle. It then does a heated dry cycle, but if I'm in a hurry to do another load, I put the wet dishes in the old stainless steel rack, which lives permanently atop the unit. The hose drains into my sink — I cut the drain hose cuz it was way longer than I needed it to be, and can either use the suction cup to anchor it to the sink, or let it float free, as in the photo.(And another benefit of the hot water draining 3 times, is when I have a large skillet or pot, I put it beneath the drain hose, so the dirty pot/pan is flooded with hot water — hot SOAPY water after the first cycle — and hence that much easier to clean. It fits the dishes, glassware and utensils from dinner for two with space to spare. It's so fast I do a load of the dishes I used while preparing the meal (spatulas/utensils, mixing bowls, small cutting board, etc...) and they're clean long before I clear the dinner plates and glasses, which become the second load. And its pretty quiet -- can't hear it in the LR of a SMALL apartment with the tv on, and I have a tv in the kitchen, which is perfectly audible above the sound of the wash cycle when I'm cooking.Do make sure to scrape all food off the plates -- it has e a filter that catches anything left on plates, but a quick scrape/rinse saves having to clean the trap (which is easily done).I've had it for over a year, and I LOVE IT!!!

This dishwasher is very helpful.Yes it is small, but it is a portable dishwasher right! While the machine takes longer than i would at washing the dishes I am not the one doing it. And we all know the germs in sponges so good bye to that, it makes me happy that my dishes are sanitized. And specially important if you have people over.I do dislike doing dishes. So for me that was my biggest push to get it.Tip:Before purchasing this machine, I would count how many dishes we would usually dirty regularly. So I knew they would fit. If you have a huge family or you dirty way too many dishes you will look forward to loading it several times. But for us it works just fine if i run it for breakfast and than for dinner. The fruit feature is THE BEST! I love this so much. Now i have my fruit and veggie clean on hand at the time of consumption. That alone saves me time. A little tip: I added BAKING SODA in the detergent compartment to wash my fruit!I can NOT say enough!! LOVE it.DRYING FEATURE:….. so after 60 minutes there are still drips of water in some of the dishes. So at first i thought there might be something wrong. But it seems like this is the norm. Second time around my dishes were more dried so the way you place it on the dish rack will determine how dried each item gets. Its not a deal breaker, unless you pay electricity and dont want to run the thing for 60 minutes to then find out they are still semi wet.I use a towel, to dry what is left of water on my dishes and i also wipe the whole inside of the dishwasher.ONE CONCERN :When i bought this i knew there was the possibility of the dish rack rotting because i saw some pictures. After having mine, I can see why this may happen. With almost anything that is metal and you leave it sitting in a puddle of water— that seems very likely to happen. So to avoid this happening to me i am now drying my dish rack with the towel after every wash, or you can leave it out of the machine to air dry. After you wash and close the door you will see the door gets foggy inside- its very humid in there so of course that too can contribute to the rack rotting if left enclosed in a humid place day by day.So i am happy that I can keep maintaining my machine and hopefully avoid this.THE UTENSIL RACK 🙄🙄:The utensil rack that it brings, i consider useless. The only way i could use that is if all i have to wash were bowls and cups. But my big plates only fit without it. SOLUTION: I purchased a Airmsen brand cutlery basket which i am still waiting on. Its the small cutlery basket that other brands of portable dishwashers come with.HEIGHT:The dishwasher is 18 point something inches. It fits under my cabinets after removing the water tank cover. And since i don’t have no space above to add the water, we added a towel underneath the dishwasher which makes it easier to slide it out from under the cabinet to give me access to fill the tank. Without this dishtowel underneath it felt heavier to move her out because the feet may have a rubber and make it harder since it sticks to the counter.DISCOVERY!!! 💎You can pre-fill with water. After my dishes finish washing every night. I turn the machine on and fill with 💦 water until i get the Ding sound. So my dishwasher is ready for use the next day. Its one step less to worry about. I love this! And if visitors come over they dont even need to see you adding the water because its preloaded!! Just put in the dishes and enjoy company.BUT about this, every time you fill your machine with water make sure your hose is still out to drain because if you overfill it - it will spit the extra water back out on the spot.As you can see in my pictures i open my drawers and place the water hose so that the drawers can keep it steady in place. The hose is all curled up so it was hard to have it stay straight into the bucket below. So that has been my solution to that.So far i am happy with this buy. Took me months to purchase. And i’m glad i did. Its a little luxury yes. If you dislike washing dishes, and have painful days… its nice to have if its in the budget.I have to say!!!! I never really hated cooking. What i hated was washing the dishes. NOW i feel free cooking and dirtying dishes does not matter to me because i have this little helper now. Plus it was hard for me to cook knowing i have dishes in a sink.A clean sink motivates me to cook!!!I am Happy Happy.
