This a/c hose cover was easy to put on and really keeps the heat down inside my house. A must need for portable a/c owners.

it is a tight fit but that is needed, you just have to pull it in tight to be able to fasten the velcro, it is thick enough and holds back about 85% of the heat on a hot 110f California day, I would buy again if needed.

I have 3 portable AC's. I bought this hose cover because it was cheaper than my previous covers. First of all, the strap is not velcro and is very flimsy. It has to be put on before you cover the hose. Second, when you push the Ac into place, and the hose curls, the velcro on the wrap gets gaps. I was able to fix this, but it's just a poor design. Also, to keep it tight, there were places the velcro would not stick. I suggest getting a wrap that slides over the hose. And make sure the straps are velcro, so you can adjust them.

The length we needed wasn't very long so I just folded pay off it over it's self, easy to install and works very well at keeping temps down

From all the heat coming off the pipe to go outside it was making it so cooling my apartment was taking longer plus the AC couldn't keep it cooler in the apartment. This helped it made it so that on average it would keep the apartment 5 degrees cooler (on days 100F it would get it down to 72F before the I was lucky to get to 76F). So this worked out great for me. Just make sure you check your tube size.
