Como todo o casi todo lo Lamy, un producto maravilloso. Como lapicero es estupendo, es ligero y va muy bien de mecánica. Para colmo es bonito. Así que qué más.

It's plain and elegant. It's smaller than it looks in pictures, but it is a perfect size. The fibreglass reinforced polycarbonate barrel feels warm and like wood and provides the perfect grip. The precision in manufacturing is remarkable. The pieces that twist apart have no apparent seam when screwed together, even where the metal meets the polycarbonate. The brushed metal tip and clip are much nicer than the pictures suggest. The mechanism was a little rough at first, and clunky. I took all of the graphite out and just spent ten minutes or so clicking it and it smoothed out nicely. I've heard from others that this is normal. The pocket clip is so unique because its edges and lines are just beautiful and simple and square. It is hinged on a spring. There is a bit of play and wobble side-to-side, which seemed strange to me at first because everything else was so precise. I've heard from others that this is normal. The weight is just perfect: not so light that it feels cheap, but not in any way clunky. The balance point is almost directly in the centre, which is normally higher than I like; but because of the barrel shape, it just feels right. Because of the texture it doesn't need a rubber or knurled metal grip, and you can comfortably write for hours. One thing that strikes me is how smoothly the lead slides through the mechanism.I own several high quality mechanical pencils, but this is the one I use every day for written language and mathematics. (Of course, I have other pencils for drawing and drafting.)

I have tried the tombow zoom 505 and the pentel sharp kerry, and this is my favorite. The body feels great in your hand because it is brushed, and the grip section is about the right size. I didn't expect it to be comfortable, but it is. The top of it is a nice shape, it feels nice against the skin between the thumb and forefinger. The clicking action is nice and crisp, there is no slop, and has a nice travel length. The sprung pocket clip is nice, it grips onto clothes nicely, without being too difficult to attach. It is also durable, it has been in a pocket with some other sharp pencils (oops), and all it got were a few shine marks (most pencils get scratched, but this one gets shinier). It looks very classy, and comes in a very nice case. The only thing I don't like about it is that the lead extends too much per click, so it breaks easily until you get used to it; now that I have gotten used to it, the lead almost never breaks. All in all, it is a great pencil, and well worth the money.
