Electrical products that plug into an electrical outlet must meet Canadian national safety standards and be certified by an accredited certification body.Always check for certification marks, such as CSA, cUL, or cETL, before purchasing electrical products that plug into an electrical outlet. These marks indicate that the products are assessed and conform to the required Canadian national safety standard.Do not buy or use electrical products that plug into an electrical outlet without a certification mark.______________________________________________________The above is taken directly from the federal government's website, and while there are a few more recognized marks than the examples given, CE, FCC, and RoHS aren't among them. As if this glaring omission wasn't enough, the fixture looks and feels extremely cheap, with a thin, white acrylic lens (as opposed to more premium fixtures that use frosted glass or thicker polycarbonate), misaligned screw holes, mediocre powder coat finish, and no colour temp adjustability. Didn't even bother installing, and would have been massively disappointed had I paid for it.

This is not a major fixture, but a good basic lightsource. We popped it onto our shed for just a simple weathertight access light, and it doesn't need to be overly bright. This one is all about function over style, and it delivers a fairly streamlined, weathertight exterior light source, so not bad. I certainly wouldn't recommend this as your main entrance light light fixture, but fairly certain it's designed to be more of an ambient/accent light, so it delivers what you would expect for the pricepoint.

This wall light is easy to install, bright and versatile. The packaging was simple and protective. The box contained the light fixture, mounting hardware, and basic instructions. Installation components were neatly organized and accounted for. Installation was easy. The included hardware was adequate, and the fixture mounted securely to the wall in a matter of minutes.The light itself produces a clean, bright white light with a cool temperature (6500K). This makes it ideal for illuminating porch areas or walkways. The light output is substantial, providing ample illumination for nighttime safety and aesthetics. Typically, this level of brightness can be slightly harsh for areas where people relax, but the light is not glaring and does not produce an uncomfortable buzz or flicker.The aluminum case feels sturdy and durable, making it suitable for various weather conditions. While it effectively illuminates a moderate area, the light is not meant to replace a primary outdoor lighting source. It is best used as an accent or supplementary light for specific areas. Overall, this wall light is a reliable, functional, and pleasing addition to any space. Full marks from me!
