This is a functional little germicidal UV lamp with the appropriate UV-transparent quartz shield to allow its use in water treatment.

Where bulb plugs in is tight, I had to break one of the tangs off to get it plugged in fully.

I needed to replace the UV light in a drinking water with this UV light tube.Installation was easy and it fit perfectly.Lifespan of these UV light tubes is a little over 6 months at the duty cycle I run.These UV light tubes are a good value and they function quite well overall.
