This was a little bigger than I expected - which isn't a bad thing. I think its size is perfect. It looks like a real fish tank. The bubbles cause very real movements of the fish, it's a random pattern and they use the entire tank too, swimming from the bottom to the top and around and around. The octopus arrived with a broken limb, but I glued it back. The limbs are moveable and the nubs there it connects into the body was broken off, so he has one non-moveable limb which helps him spin in pretty circles...lol.it's actually very relaxing to watch. I have it sitting on the corner of the peninsula in my kitchen and have the lights set to fade so the colors just roll through fading in and out gently. Watching the fish move about, the bubbles rising to the top, just calmed me down (this also surprised me). I didn't know what I was expecting with this, but I'm really happy with it. It's just a nice little thing to have. You don't have to worry about feeding the fish. You do have to clean the tank - sort of. Just change the water every ten days (I think it could probably go longer depending how often/long you use it).I definitely recommend this faux fish tank.

This is a really great concept and the lighting is awesomecas well as the bubbles and the fish.I do have some concerns though, it holds quite a large amount of liquid (which you fill yourself with distilled water). The top screws off fairly easily and I do know what will happen if it takes a tumble to the ground which is it will snap off and a lot a gallon or so of water will come spilling down.

This is acute little fish lamp. I am a scuba diver and like all thing ocean and beach related. So this was a no brainer for me to order. It is cute and I put in in my family room to have a little light while I am watching tv. I have not gotten the remote working yet and I think it has a dead battery or something. I have nont really checked since it sits right beside me. It did vibrate a little bit so I put a cloth napkin under it to reduce the vibration noise. It is a cute little light and I like the floating fish and was even considering ordering a few more.

My grandchildren love this night light. Several colors to choose from, and the fish look realistic swimming around. Soothing to watch and helps them relax as they drift off to sleep. Wonderful gift idea!
