The wife and MIL both love this bronze drum chandelier in the foyer. I can admit that is a very unique design. The construction is quality material (not flimsy), and the finish is nice. Did not take long to install at all (maybe 25 minutes). It is a bit smaller than the advertised photos, so be sure to take a look at the measurements. Again, this fixture is definitely one that you will be happy with! 4-Stars!

This farmhouse style ceiling lamp is easy to assemble. Just connect two cross-bars on top and screw together the center pieces. The ceiling mount to the electrical box is standard. Overall size is only 13" across, so it is not really large enough for a dinning room, more like an entry. It is nice looking fixture but not high-end. I have two negatives. First the finish has some paint runs that are noticeable when lit (see photos). Second the color is a deeper bronze than the lighter golden bronze depicted, which is not what I wanted.

This is a very pretty semi-flush light fixture and turned out to be perfect for adding light to our entryway.There is a small bit of assembly needed in that the two curved pieces on top have to be attached to the overall fixture, nothing overly difficult. They do send everything you need and in theory, it should only take you a few minutes to add them. However, on mine, the screw holes were so tight it was a struggle for me to get them attached. I don't know if the holes were drilled out too small or the screws sent were too big, but it took me multiple screwdrivers and eventually my drill to get those screws in. By the time I finally got them all the way in, the screwheads were mostly stripped out. But that is my only complaint about this light!It is a very well-made fixture, nice and sturdy not thin or flimsy. The bronze color is gorgeous, and I love that it is closer to 'brushed bronze' rather than bright and shiny. The overall shape of the light is also very nice and unique. While it is advertised as 'farmhouse' I think it would go well with many design styles.Installation was a cinch. In my case, we had to add a hole and run wire because there was not a fixture there, but if you already have one, you will be able to switch them out easily!Once installed and turned on, it puts out the perfect amount of light. I also like the unique shadows it throws. You will need to get 4 standard E12 base bulbs (max 40w), but you can use led, incandescent, halogen, CFL and others. Max 40W. It can also be used with a dimmer switch and bulbs.Overall I am very happy with this pretty light fixture and do recommend it.
