I ordered this for a barn that is at a remote corner of our property. I wanted a motion sensing light over an entrance to detect someone so they see to unlock the door.I wasn’t too concerned with the light color, but I can see how it might be important to some. The motion sensing worked very well and the settings could be set for our use.The remote might be a feature to some, but in this case didn’t work out. Once we had set the light what we needed, the remote was put away. Unfortunately, it did not retain the settings if the power was cut. I tested it and found that it could retain the settings reliably for 30 minutes, and sometimes for up to an hour. But, if the power was cut, turned back on immediately, then cut again, it lost the settings. In our area, we get a lot of short power outages. If the power would stay off then come back cleanly within 30 minutes, the light would retain the settings. Unfortunately, the power dropouts come from transmission switching by the Powerboard, meaning that the power could ‘stutter’, switch off and on rapidly, effectively wiping the settings in the light and will require the remote to “reprogram” it.If it weren’t for the power hits, this would be an ideal light.I gave this light 5 stars because for most people, this light would be perfect. I chose it primarily for the looks but for my use, it isn’t working out. It will be replaced soon and it will be moved to a more suitable location. It is not this items fault that our power works against it!

This light is awesome! I want to get more to put elsewhere in the house. It was so easy to hook up, I did it myself. It is crazy bright!! And I love that. I need more bright lights in my house. I also love that it’s motion activated. It goes off by itself so I don’t feel guilty and have to worry if I remembered to turn the light off or not, but is on when I walk in the door even if my arms and hands are too full to flip the switch. I really wish most of the lights in my house were this bright. It just makes everything easier to see. It’s the perfect size to replace the contractor grade light that was still in the back entry way before I put this up. Definitely hoping to get more of these. I think it would be perfect in the laundry room and in a couple closets and the garage, too.

So this is a nice light its high efficiency led bulbs make it cheap to operate an emit plenty of light. It also has a motion detection mode which works very well in our laundry room so that the light automatically turns on with no need to flip a switch if our hands are full carrying a basket of clothes. The motion detection mode sensitivity can also be adjusted using the included remote to meet the needs for various room sizes making it extremely versatile for many applications . The remote can also turn the light on/off an change shade of light as well as be used to adjust brightness further adding to the versatility. U can also choose to not use the motion detection mode which means it will simply operate using a switch like any other light or it can even be used where a switch may not be available an can be operated using the remote if necessary. Its also very easy to install an includes all nessacary hardware for installation an it has a neutral, simple, modern look that would go well in many different design styles. So overall I would definitely recommend this light due to its many different features an modern high efficiency led bulbs making it a highly versatile light for the money

Got this piece to improve my lighting in the kitchen. So far it does a really good job lighting up. The installation was pretty straightforward a bit on the thin side, but that said it does make for great low profile rally for money. This is excellent as you will get a lot of brightness and lower your electricity bill
