Heavier than I expected -- it seems like a good quality build, and I think it looks great! Not too big, not too small, modern style, and a reasonable price.The light is nice and plenty bright, leaning more warm than cool. The swivel helps to light my desk on one side, a reading spot on my couch to the other side, and uplight when I just need more ambient light. I do wish there was any ability to pull the lampshade slightly away from the wall to better direct the light on my desk, but I knew this was a limitation when I bought it, and it's a minor critique.Installation was easy, despite what some other reviewers have said - there's no back plate, so all the wires might look intimidating? Ignore the wires. To mount on a wall, you just unscrew the tiny screws from the sides of the base, remove the attached mounting plate and screw that to the wall (use good anchors if you have drywall - I used the zinc drywall anchors I had on hand). Then put the lamp back on the mounting plate and tighten the tiny screws again. Literally took me 5 minutes, you'll be good!

I ordered these to put over my kid’s bunk beds as reading lights. 1. They are sturdy, metal, and enclosed. So the kids can’t touch the lightbulb and hurt themselves. 2. East to install as a plug in! 3. Great size 4. Perfect amount of light for reading

These sconces are beautiful! They are fairly small, but we appreciate how they don’t take up a lot of wall space. They feel high quality, and the light they give off is perfectly warm and cozy. I appreciate how you can rotate the light source to give off different feels. We are so pleased with these for our bedroom, and for the price, you can’t beat them!
