I bought this lamp for my guest room. It is a great bedside lamp. It turns on by touch so a guest doesn’t have to struggle turning it on. It has three levels of brightness that are also controlled by touch so it is easy to turn on, off or adjust even in the dark. It includes a USB port for charging that is also very convenient. It can be adjusted in unlimited range, facing to the ceiling or the ground or any direction needed. It is also very well made and actually replaced one from a different manufacturer that broke almost immediately.

Good soft light, not harsh LED lighting. Tri-light brightness for soft background up to bright for up close reading to handiwork. Love the touch control especially in dark room when needing a bit of light. Would definitely buy again.

Things in our beautiful world are mostly plastic, and this thing is mostly plastic. It replaces a much more robust Ikea "Ranarp" table lamp that was damaged from over-tightening. As for this item, the monicker, "Industrial" is a gross exaggeration.The positives: small footprint, touch activate feature, dimmable, attractive profile, usbs slots, additional power socket. The disappointing: overall cheapness; its featherweight heft guarantees that it will either wind up in the landfill at some point, or at the Goodwill on sale for 98 cents (the former more likely).Hey, at least it comes with a free Edison-style LED bulb.(upgraded from 3 stars to 4, so call it 3.5)

I'm using it for a bedroom lamp. Having to just touch the base of the lamp to turn off, on, and to switch between brightness modes-which I've never had before--is surprisingly useful. No switch to grope for in the dark. Having different brightness levels in the bedroom is very useful, so you don't wake yourself or anyone else up with a bright light.The lamp looks very nice, a cut above other desk lamps yet not substantially more than many of them, some that look like they belong in a college dorm room-this doesn't. The head of the lamp adjusts up and down,.I"ve never had a lamp with a USB port. I plug my phone in there with a short cord. Makes the bedside table a bit neater though that's just an extra useful feature for me. I bought it because it was the nicest looking plain black lamp at a low price point. We needed a plain one for certain decorating reasons.Very pleased with my purchase. Especially being able to touch it on or offSome people mentioned difficulty with not having instructions on how to put it together. Assembly was intuitive and took only a few minutes (less than 5). I don't recall there being directions (or not-I didn't use any) but it was no problem if you think about what is in front of you for a moment. There's a limited amount of options if you were to make a mistake-this isn't like putting together some furniture not complex at all.
