This product is a good quality and sturdy door handle. Can't go wrong with Kwikset brand. I bought it to replace three an old-fashion round door knobs because sometimes I couldn't grip the round knob due to arthritis.It looks professional and classy. Easy to install. It fits a standard cut-out. It took me awhile to find a latch that had a standard round base, not a square one that would have shown the old lock-base mark and dent in the paint. The lock works great too.This product is pricey but well worth the money. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Easy to fit but no instructions

This handle is fully adjustable so it fit my door no problem. It is a well constructed handle with some weight to it. It's shiny surface looks great in my bathroom and it feels good when closing or opening the door. The only thing I had an issue with was that the strike plate did not match the hole of the old strike plate so that had to be adjusted. Otherwise great product. Highly recommended.

Kwikset doesn't provide any instructions for putting this handle together. The first time I installed it on one of my doors, I struggled a bit and was cursing Kwikset for not providing an instruction sheet. But I finally managed. After that first time, the others went smoothly.One of the problems of not having an instruction sheet is that I received a handleset someone had returned because they snapped the cover onto the handle before inserting the handle into the handle on the opposite side. I'm sure they returned it because there's no way to install these if that cover is snapped on first. I didn't want to damage it by trying to take it off, so I returned it. I received a 2nd set also with this problem. However, returning another one was irritating, so I tried to see if I could carefully get the cover off without damaging it. I did. But I shouldn't have to do this.Also, there is a bag of parts, mostly screws. There are 4 long screws, 2 each of a different type. So the customer must guess which one goes into the handles. The first time I tried it, I tried screwing in the wrong type, thus damaging the tapping. Very irritating! I still don't know why those two long screws are in the package.I blame Kwikset for this irritating stuff. They probably think they are saving money by not including a simple 1-page (maybe even 1/2 a page) instruction sheet. More and more companies are doing this, which makes me angry because then I must find if there's a YouTube video showing how to put stuff together. Corporate greed and ultimately making users frustrated.
