Needed this kind because we were installing a key pad with a deadbolt. We are near the ocean so, not sure these will hold up with the salt. They look great. We used these on a closet and same one with a lock on the master bdrm. Pocket doors on the rest of the doors.

I purchased this to replace a schlage that was not operating correctly and we were really disappointed in. The door opens and closes more smoothly now and the design is nice. We are pleased and are slowly replacing our handles with Kwikset now.

I like the Kwikset Halifax design and have changed all the door knobs in the house over to it. The design is clean, modern, and the handles are solid, giving a quality feel to it. The lever spring action is just right -- not too stiff or hard, but not too loose.I use these passage sets on door that don't require any lock or privacy as there is no locking mechanism. The set works on both left- and right- handed doors.The replacements were easy and take less than five minutes, and I didn't have to change any of the existing door jamb strike plates.
