Finally a low cost KVM that actually worked for me.I've got my mouse and keyboard plugged in front. DP monitor and leads to Windows 11 and Linux mint machines out the back. Both machines are able to detect the monitor works at 1440p/144Hz. Switching is quite quick, especially for Linux.

Took 4 tries to finally find a KVM switch that actually works with 5120x2160 or higher resolution monitors (i.e., actually can make use of the specs as stated on the switch).Only quirks are:- DP-to-DP couplers and usb-C to DP couplers do NOT work with this switch - horrible flickering occurs with some disturbing popping noises. Must plug 1 cable only from switch to device with no couplers.- Some USB-C-to-DP cables don't work flawlessly with this switch - some flickering will occur. Will take some trial and error to find such cables that play nice with this switch. However, no issues using pure DP cables.- Only 4 USB ports and 0 usb-C ports - though competing switches also have this problem, and not really a quirk. Youd think in this day and age manufacturers would have realized that people use Usb-C and have more than just 4 USB-connected devices. Waiting for the day a (working) product is actually released that goes beyond this limitation. For now, I have a USB hub plugged in to connect more USB devices. Complete list of devices connected are as follows, to 3 different computers:1. LG 40wp95C (5120x2160) monitor2. Razer viper v3 mouse and Ajazz mechanical wireless keyboard3. Some microphone4. Kanto Yu2 speakers5. Webcam6. Odd storage devicess (e.g. usb drive) as needed

My desk looked like a cable monster's playground. Two computers, two monitors, a keyboard, a mouse, and enough wires to strangle a small elephant. I'd been wrestling with this mess for ages, switching cables back and forth like some kind of tech-age contortionist. Then I stumbled upon this ANGEET KVM switch.Look, I'm not a tech wizard. I just want things to work without throwing a fit. And this thing? It works. Plugged it all in, which, yeah, took a minute, but the instructions were clear enough. Hit the button on the wired remote, and bam, switched from my work laptop to my home PC, both monitors flipping over smooth as butter. The 8K and 4K stuff? I don't really care about that. My monitors look sharp, and that's good enough for me. What I do care about is the USB ports. Four of 'em, and they actually work. No more unplugging my keyboard and mouse every time I switch computers. I even plugged in my printer, and it worked flawlessly. The build quality is solid. It feels like a piece of equipment, not some cheap plastic toy. The wired remote is a nice touch; I keep it tucked under my monitor, easy to reach. Now, there are a couple of things that bug me. The cables are a bit stiff, which makes cable management a bit of a pain. And the power adapter is a bit bulky. But those are minor gripes in the grand scheme of things.Bottom line, this KVM switch has brought some much-needed order to my chaotic desk. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, and it does it well. If you're tired of cable clutter and wrestling with multiple computers, this thing is worth a look.

Using this with a MacBook Pro M4 and an Asus G16 gaming laptop. 3 monitors working for both, but needed a display link adapter for the MacBookAlso it handles 165hz at 2k and HDR.So far I’m impressed!

Based on my experience with other low cost KVMs I wasn't expecting much - bugs and glitches with displays and/or USB devices, but so far in about 2 months of use this unit has held up nicely. Overall, I can recommend this KVM switch.I'm using the 3 monitor/3 computer combo with 3 computers but only 2 monitors currently, but it's nice to have the option for an additional monitor. I have a lot of USB devices hanging off two Rosonway 7-port USB hubs attached to this KVM unit, plus another Anker hub, and everything works fine. Obviously you're not getting 40 GB/s Thunderbolt 4 speeds through these USB ports, but for any other devices that don't need extreme data transfer speeds they work great. The two monitors I'm using are a Gigabyte M32U over DisplayPort, and an BenQ GW2765 over HDMI. Using with a AMD-based Windows system and a Mac Mini (M4 Pro) and a Mister Pi.About the Mac, I will note that for some reason the USB functionality works better through the Mac mini M4 Pro's front USB ports, which are the slower non-TB5 ports. When connected to the KVM through the rear TB5 ports I would sometimes have USB devices fail to register on the Mac after switching between computers on the KVM switch, but this never happens when using the front ports. This is fine for my use because this KVM switch can't take advantage of the higher speed anyway. Overall, I can recommend this switch.
