I love this tape measure holder. I run a portable sawmill, so I'm constantly reaching for my tape measure. This makes is quick and convenient. The only issue I have occasionally is if I bend forward sometimes I'll push the button and unclip the tape measure.Otherwise no issues, I practically can't function without it. You get used to how easy it is to unlatch and rehook. And it saves a lot of wear on my belt and pants.

Just got it today. Think I'm gonna love it. I work in a mill and I'm on and off forklifts and up ladders and under machinery and have lost or destroyed 6 or more tapes because the damn belt clips don't freaking stay on my belt. This should keep em from leaping to their death or destruction. Update. First week of using at work. Where have you been all my life? I love this thing. Since it fits "loosely " on my belt I can slide it around so it's not getting hung on forklift seat and getting launched across wearhouse floor. Hoping the plastic housing does brittle out and snap for yrs.

It worked great for about 3 days, then the part that conects just shattered making the whole thing useless. Don't by this one, spend another $5 on one with a metal clip.

Ever since the perfect tape measure was discontinued years ago, (Big Johnson) I have been looking for ways to clip my tape on and off my belt like the old cell phone holsters. I purchased the Hintz model that covers the name of the tape about a month ago, I liked it other than the metal had sharp edges. I took 80 grit sand paper to that.This little guy was more of what I was expecting... other than I had to sand the texture off the back of my measure with a belt sander. One of my standard Fat Max measures would have worked well with this holster, but I carry the Black Widow because it’s easier for me to read.I did apply Power Grab between the tape and the holster connector to hopefully prolong the life of this setup. If this device doesn’t give me the service and lifespan I would expect, I will edit this review. If it lasts 4-6 months, it’ll probably outlive the tape it’s attached to.And by the way, the company included a bandaid in the package. Odd, yes, but I figured they knew the damn thing would need to be modified and took proper precautions Incase things went south. Thanks guys!

Since this is made for komelon tapes I have no issues. The screw fits oerfect so the clip never falls off
