How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I’m so glad I bought the Kobo Libra Color—it’s a product that’s on par, if not better, than the Kindle. One feature I absolutely love is the page-turn buttons; they add such a satisfying, tactile experience. It’s also incredibly lightweight and easy to handle. The color display is another highlight—it really enhances my reading experience, making it feel more like holding a real book. The battery life is excellent, and I find myself using this e-reader more than my Kindle now. Adjusting the screen brightness is also much more intuitive compared to the Kindle. Overall, in my opinion, this is the superior option. I’m so glad there’s a great alternative to the Amazon brand. The ironic part? The Kobo Libra Color is actually priced cheaper on Amazon than on the Kobo site!

Après avoir hésité pendant longtemps, j’ai finalement opté pour la Kobo et je suis plus que satisfaite de mon choix ! Sa taille est parfaite. Ni trop grande, ni trop petite. La colorisation est chouette. La possibilité de faire des carnets/notes rend l’objet encore plus attractif, à condition d’y ajouter le stylet (non contenu). La prise en main est facile et intuitive et la lecture vraiment agréable. L’objet est assez léger, de sorte à pouvoir se plonger toute une soirée sur un livre sans avoir le poignet cassé. En bref, aucun regret !

No pensé que el ligero cambio de color y de botones fuera tan importante, soy lector de mangas y novelas ligeras las cuales cuentan con ilustraciones y se ven de magnífica forma

Der Kobo Libra Colour ist mein erster eReader, nachdem ich jahrelang Bücher gelesen habe. Er ist ohne Licht etwas dunkler, es ist aber mithilfe des Frontlights kein Problem. Ich habe das Licht nie heller als 12% und der Akku hält damit ewig (ca. 3-4 Bücher mir ungefähr 400 Seiten).Die Farben sind etwas blass, lassen sich allerdings in den Entwickleroptionen intensiver einstellen. Es gibt genügend Möglichkeiten, die Schrift anzupassen und selbst andere Programme wie KOReader lassen sich unkompliziert installieren.Bis jetzt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Gerät, auch wenn es von den Materialien etwas billig daher kommt. Die Tasten funktionieren super und sind eine sinnvolle Unterstützung, die das einhändige Lesen ermöglicht. Ich würde den Reader jederzeit erneut kaufen.

Can be used to borrow books from NLB. Great that it has colour too. Enjoyed by adults and children readers in my home.

Purchased this for a cosplay and it was a great size! Small and light and can act as a mini backpack. Held my phone, keys and other items! Def recommend!

Buen producto. Vengo de usar un kindle. La pantalla del kindle tiene más constraste y mejor definición de las letras, pero por alguna razón este siento que de verdad leo un libro. Es rápido y los colores se ven bien . Al tomar notas es rápido también y la función de libreta inteligente es increíblemente buena. Uso un lápiz genérico que cabe en la funda y sin problema funciona. Lo único es que me gustaría que la intensidad de la luz fuera automática al igual que el tono de color.

Excelente producto, muy ligero, soporta muchos tipos de archivo, aunque la selección de la tienda de Rakuten no es tan amplia como en otras opciones.El color se ve muy similar al periódico impreso, la primera vez que se ve es impresionante. Por lo mismo la bateria le dura semanas, aun con la retroiluminacion al maximo. Usa cable USB tipo C, y la caja solo incluye un cable. No tiene fuente para toma corriente.Tiene rotacion por giroscopio y botones de hardware para cambiar la pagina, que hacen que la lectura sea aun mas comoda.Opcionalmente se puede adquirir un lapiz para poder tomar notas en el, que sumado a su bateria podrian hacerlo una buena alternativa para estudiantes, aunque es mas pequeñito que una tablet de 7”.Excelente opcion para leer.

I had a Kindle basic from long long back and wanted to update it to newer model, possibly with buttons like Kindle Oasis, however Oasis has been out of commission and it was not renewed in newer line-ups of Amazon kindle. The ones which were updated was not having a good feedback from users. Hence I decided to go for Kobo Libra Color(KLC). Here are my thoughts.PROS:-1. KLC is a color version with physical buttons and the colors are good enough for e-ink technology and please so not expect the tablet like quality in this. Colors are vivid and comics look as good as you can get with this technology(see images). Also you can get even more vivid colors by switching developer mode on.2. Battery backup is excellent(a week or two probably) with normal reading(couple of hours a day) and even better if the content is pure black and white(B&W). Color has lower dpi but B&W is excellent.3. You can use stylus for annotating and drawing directly on the book. It also has notebook feature.4. If there is a screen door effect(search for this term) then either I don't have that issue or it really doesn't matter because it is not at all noticeable.5. Like I said physical buttons are a god-send and very handy.6. You use google drive or Dropbox for very easy file transfer. You can also use applications to make it very easy as well.7. PDFs work very well so epubs is not the only supported format. While you can annotate on PDF file, you can't highlight on the PDFs like you do on epubs(this is because PDFs are basically like images with no text layer)CONS:-1. You lose the variety that Amazon kindle offers with its large selection of books and also in half the price that Kobo will offer. Regional books will not be found on Kobo and if it is there there it will more expensive than what Amazon offers. A work around is that you can buy on Amazon and convert it to epubs and use it on Kobo. Amazon has that facility.2. Kindle unlimited is yet another thing you might miss if you use that(I didn't).3. I don't know if Kobo has service centers in India so that another thing you might have to keep in mind.Final Verdict: Go for it if it is in your budget, it is worth it.

Tomen en cuenta si compran en México la marca no da garantía por qué no envían a México. Tuve una muy mala experiencia con esto, a los dos meses se me descargó y ya no la pude volver a cargar, se quedó en modo espera, ya no sirve y en México no dan opción de devolver para garantía y no es opción ir a estados unidos para mandar el defectuoso y luego esperar a recibir allá el que envíen de reposición.

This backpack is very cute and was a great value. It’s not pictured, but there is a tiny zipper pocket in between the straps that was very useful at a convention. It worked perfectly for my Bowser cosplay.

We needed this for a dance show and it was prefect. It is cute, great small size and stayed on well.
