Great nippers

Hard to find the "high leverage" Nippers in North American stores. Popular in Europe, but most North Americans use the Klien Pliers, so usually need purchased only. The 300mm length high-leverage nips without cushion grips can be found at KMS, Home Depot, and a select couple other places but the other models aren't offered (ie: different lengths, or with cusion grips). Also $20 cheaper from Amazon.The other brands just don't compare. Channelock, Klein, etc don't last nearly as long. The Knipex are higher quality and made of a harder steel. The other brands would last me less than 2-months at work before dulling, but the Knipex generally last about 5 months - the best out there. (80hrs/week reinforcing ironworking)
