These are great pliers. Very strong very well made. They represent the Klein name very well.

Was expecting exact duplicates of pliers I've had for many years, which have the same D203-6C model number. Same excellent no-wobble hinge and spring action. However, the tips on both of my new ones are 1/8" wide, almost twice as wide as my old. The Klein website calls them "needle nose" and the illustration of the nose shows a much finer tip. Unlike my old pair - and the photo on the Klein website (and Amazon) - the plastic dipping on handles stops 1/2" short. No cushion under your index finger when using the pliers. (Oddly, the short-dipping exposes the letters "I" and "1" forged into the handles.) Minor point: the outsides of the nose are rough instead of smooth. Klein apparently decided to make them heavier-duty - perhaps they were too easily broken - the new ones weigh almost 10% more on my postage scale. They are nice pliers, but I'm disappointed at the crudeness.

I bought these to supplement a pair passed down from my dad and still going strong . From the date code markings they date back to 1959. This new pair appears to be identical in composition and quality (the old pair lacks the spring action and coated handles). I expect these to last just as long.

The 6 inch long nose pliers with the spring have a smooth action and the QA/QC is top notch. The jaws make tight contact and and looking at the tip of the pliers head on they are perfectly symmetrical and aligned. I had originally bought the 6 inch Channellock long nose pliers with the cutter but returned them since fit and finish was very poor on that tool. Its a night and day difference and the Klein Tools 6 inch long nose pliers are far superior and were
