This is a great item, well-crafted of quality materials and likely to last for decades. A little pricey, but on sale is great value. More importantly, you won't find a better alternative. I didn't. I work in a paper oriented business and I'm dispatched to meetings with folders of documents, and an iPad daily. Sometimes include a laptop. This bag is big enough to handle it all as my walking around portfolio. And, the Klein Tools logo, which is almost hard to see, is a great touch. I didn't love the color coming out of the package, or that it felt velvety. It's almost like a very short sueded. I did one treatment with some Coach Leather Lotion and the color and texture are now perfect for me. Photos show out of the bag, immediately after leather lotion (very dark), and now. Also laptop shown to convey sense of size. I'll be using this bag for the remainder of my career.

Check the zipper when you get it. Its brass (or brass colored) and did not operate smoothly when I got it. I carefully applied some PTFE dry lube and exercised the zipper about 50 times. Seems better now. As long as zipper remains operable I will keep it. If zipper starts to bind I do not want to miss the return window. I have learned that zippers that bind don't usually get better with age. I'm hoping that being a YKK brand zipper everything will break in as it should. The pouch itself does not have any structural rigidity... it is quite lightweight. I put a very minimal top-loading laptop sleeve inside for a 14" HP OmniBook which works quite well. My primary use for this bag will be as my man-bag to get all the stuff out of my pockets that I can't leave home without: tape measure; hand sanitizer; battery pack; sunglasses; multi-tool; earbuds; note pad; three sided folder; sunscreen; small flashlight; passport; USB drive; pens, etc. Also, added a smaller Klein tool bag to help with organization. No room left for my duct tape and WD spray so, for overnight trips, or beyond five miles from home, will need to use a backpack or get an auxiliary mod-box for those everyday essentials.

For some reason, it's hard to find a quality document case that doesn't break the bank. Most document cases on the market are either cheap/low-quality or high-end leather products. I love "buy it for life products" and this case is bang for your buck. Tough as nails nylon, solid construction, sleek minimal design, lifetime warranty. I bought it to hold tools and now bring it to the office. Klien Tools products are super underrated!

This piece is gorgeous! It was a gift for someone, and I am sad I didn't get myself one!

I purchased this product after launching a search for brown leather clutch bags. I loved the size and the quirkiness of repurposing it for a completely different use. When it arrived, very promptly, all the way to Perth Western Australia, I was even more impressed. The bag has a very pleasing finish and the logo gives a distinct touch of class. Very sturdy and voluminous. I used as a day bag to carry an iPad, two pairs of glasses in their cases, a smaller bag with cash etc, a set of shop keys and car keys. What more could a girl need. And the price, even with the loss into AU$ and postage was still nothing compared to what I would pay in a fashion boutique for a similar bag!I have recommended the bag to others and hopefully this will open up a whole new market for this manufacturer.
