This comes as a small bag of 10 eye bolts and a smaller bag of washers and nuts included in the small bag.The bolts themselves (I got the smallest ones) are about 2" overall length with about 1.75" of thread length. These are not heavy duty eye bolts but will do a very nice job when matched to the application.I have some objects I want to be able to 'secure' with a cable connecting them together. This will do that job. Of course, if someone really really wants to 'un-secure' them, they can but they could regardless of the eye bolts that I would employ. These are described as stainless steel so I am not anticipating they will rust. Time (and exposure to the elements) will be a better determiner of that situation.Match the eye bolt to the job and you will find these are a very nice choice.

If you're shopping for eye bolts, you probably know what they're used for and you know what you need. These M6 eye bolts are as-advertised and make a good alternative to 1/4x20 size. The eyes have a good looking, polished finish and the threads appear smoothly cut. I checked with a magnet and the material is mildly magnetic, consistent with a commodity-grade of stainless steel. The eye bolts appear to be manufactured by threading a piece of M6 threaded rod into an open ended M6 nut eye. You can see on the thread side of the flange in my photo that these don't appear to be made from a single forging, and on the back side you can see where the threaded rod appears to be welded in place and then smoothed over and polished. To me, there's nothing wrong with that manufacturing technique – I'm just pointing out my observations. If you need some stainless steel eye bolts at a very good price, I think these are definitely some to consider.
