This little set is great if you do small projects or just testing them out. I chose this for the 0.45mm size, since it has the most yardage. If you get the other sizes, you get very little.Overall, it was a bit on the pricey side for small amount of thread each, but you get a good amount of colors that you can use. One thing is that I can't seem to find a larger roll of these threads by the same maker, so that means if you need a large amount, you will not find any. The wax on these are stiff and can poke an eye out...more or less. It is not bad once you start stitching as it will get more flexible.I got these to stitch my Blythe size shoes I made since it requires thinner thread. I normally use flat waxed threads so these are a new feeling. I do love it and the colors look great!Even with the small rolls, I will still be able to make many projects like this. I actually re-ordered another set of these colors plus the rainbow set right before this review too!

I ordered these for bookbinding and for mending heavier garments like work pants. The thread is very nice quality and is very easy to work with. There is a perfect amount of wax on this thread, with no buildup on fingers, needle eye, or project material. I'm always looking out for heavy duty thread like this, but what really caught my eye about this assortment is the earthy color palette. These are beautiful, unusual colors for this kind of thread and I have already use some of them on mending. I can't wait to experiment with open spine binding so the colors can really be seen. Note that when used, the color is lighter and less saturated than it appears on the spool. I have also only used this for hand sewing, so I no idea if it would be appropriate for a machine. Will order this assortment again-- couldn't be happier!

Love love love the colors in this neutral set. They’re the perfect set of natural and aesthetic colors. They are indeed waxed and the thread isn’t TOO sticky but just enough to tell that they waxed thoroughly.It comes with a needle threader and a set of durable needles, which is a great value for the price of less than $20 (at the time of this review).I also appreciate the info sheet at the bottom of the thread case, it explains how the threads are made in production and also has a note on melting the ends with a flame.

I ordered the neutral colors set of these threads and I'm very happy with them. The first thing to note is that the colors are a little more subtle than the product page images look - which is exactly what I was hoping for. All of them look about a shade darker too, which makes them match the natural leather better.There are 115 yards of each twine in each of the rolls. This is a very usable amount for most projects. The included needles are pretty good as well, and I found that they stayed sharp enough in my project. The treading tool in my kit was damaged, but it's pretty easy to thread twine.Overall this is a good kit for someone just picking up the hobby. If you're doing a lot of leather work you'll probably want larger spools of yohr specific color needs, but this set helped someone like me that wants to expirement.

This waxed polyester thread with all of these colors, is a great value and feels thick and strong. It's not too thick, which makes it easy to stitch with. I can feel that the thread seems to have plenty of wax on and inside it. The thread is about 1/32"w in size or about size 12 to 8 hand stitching thread. The neutral colors are perfectly beautiful and saturated. You can melt the ends to prevent fraying. The thread has great functionality in that it is water resistant, strong and, a great size for decorative stitching on leather, canvas, upholstery, book binding or other thick fabrics. I also plan to try it on stitching for pine straw baskets making. Included is an assortment of needles appropriate for this thread and a needle threader.
