This thing is fantastic. Quickly became my most frequently used kitchen gadget. I didn’t know it could handle frozen fruit and ice in smoothies so well but it’s amazing. Do yourself a favor and get rid of the big bulky blender and get one of these!

The immersion blender I had for over 14 years, stopped blendering. I found the same exact item but the price is about 4 times higher than it was 14 years ago, so I started looking at more affordable machines.This one does the trick. It's heavy (for its size) and makes light work of whatever I've used it for: from blending fruits for smoothies, to a simple blend of dates for the overnight oats I like to make, to ginger, for my almost daily dose of ginger juice.The ginger was my final test on its effectiveness. It made short work of the ginger, which has to be put through fine mesh after blending to get just the juice.In short, this is a great machine!

Be aware of dimensions- I did not check- This item is very large!Not as expected- in 2 parts- works okI do like that it is easy to clean.

I buy organic nut butters without palm kernel oil so they are very difficult to stir as the oil has separated when you first get the jar. I was always stirring it with a strong butter knife which was a very tedious process. I decided to try this emulsion blender, but unfortunately it did not fit in the jar. It was just a little too big for the opening of the jar. It is a beautiful machine, well-made and I would’ve loved to keep it, but I don’t cook and I had no use for it. So I returned it, as much as I hated to do so. Then I got the idea, why don't I just use a hand mixer with only one attachment! It worked Great but let me warn you, you better hold onto that jar for all your worth when you turn the mixer on. The jar almost went flying out of my hand and splashed nut butter all over everything, but it worked fantastic. So next time I know what to use and to be ready when I turn that blender on. By the way, it was cashew butter and it came out perfect.
