This was the perfect size for my oversized pan. Very durable, thick, easy to clean and store. I feel it's worth the money

This is the most effective screen I’ve used, and I’ve used a lot! Other screens I tried are just plain metal with square holes like a window screen. This one is more like a mesh metallic fabric and it’s double layered and the holes are tinier so it stops more of the splatter. I only have the tiniest amount of splatter droplets go through if I have straight up oil swimming in the pan and it’s on too hot. Otherwise I’d say this stops 90% of splatters and only the tiniest droplets go through but don’t make it very far, just a little on the back of the stove and maybe an inch or so around the sides but tiny amounts. Without the screen I had drops going out and onto the floor and a full foot or two around the pan. This screen has washed well so far, I put it through the dishwasher at least every other day and so far no problems after two months. I’ll probably get another one so that I can have one to use while the other one is in the dishwasher! I actually cook a lot more now that I have this because cleanup is a quick wipe across the back of the stove just above the pan. My floors are cleaner now too because the droplets can’t make it far enough to make the floor in front of the stove oily. Which keeps my carpets clean too!
