I sure loved this soldering iron when I purchased it 6 weeks ago, but today... Not so much.After less than 2 months of occasional use this soldering iron is pretty much worthless. At first it would work for 40 minutes or so but today fully charged I can't hardly get it to warm up before going dead. It takes hours to charge and literally runs just for a few minutes. Not very handy to have now.

Sometimes worked sometimes not. Not easy to see if it on or not without touching it blinking lights only blink 3 blue and no heat?

This soldering iron so far works great for smaller projects. I only gave it 5 stars for but there r a couple of things that I want to address so they are made aware to others. First I didn't have a clear indication of when to charge it cuz it says when it blinks 3x it has a low charge yet it blinks 3x every time u change the settings. So when I did charge it it shut off the charger after 10 min which was odd cuz it still binked 3x after each setting. Secondly is the handle towards the top gets extremely hot and should be better insulated so u don't get burned while holding it. The plus side is that it did melt the solder it came with rather quickly. Not sure how it will do with thicker solder as I am out of the one I usually use but the one it came with worked great for it. I liked that it has 2 tips to choose from and it's own stand to set it on while it's hot. And the carrying case make it easy to keep everything together and great to use on the go plus has extra room for more supplies if needed. Price wasn't to bad either. It was shipped quickly as well. So if u have small projects ur doing this is a great investment. Just be aware of how hot the top of it gets cuz u may need to let it cool down briefly after using it if u are doing several things with it.

I didn't expect this cordless soldering iron to be so high quality. And there is a cover to prevent me from burning so I can carry it with me. I basically charge it once every 3 days and it has a high wattage. Compared to others, I believe no one can compare to this wireless soldering kit. A lot of cleaning accessories are given. Battery soldering iron heats up very quickly, basically 3 seconds to heat up, the temperature control is very accurate. Portable soldering iron can be DIY, small capacitors, resistors, wires and so on, Resistors, wires, etc. This rechargeable soldering iron I also found an interesting place, he can not only wireless use, but also wired use. I highly recommend cordless soldering iron kit - perfect!

Out of all the soldering irons I've bought, this is my go-to portable one. The case and supplies are all nice, but you may want to cut the bit of foam that separates the cap from the main unit of the iron during shipment. The iron itself is simple and easy to use.
